You can enter multiple words separated by commas: national, the. The comma in this query expression is treated like a logical OR. So you will receive all records that have the words "national" or "the". If you want to find exact matches use quotations. For example, to find all records that match the phrase "national,the" use quotations.

Boolean Operators ("And," "Or," "Not")
Combine words and phrases for better results.
Use AND and NOT to combine search terms to find fewer, more relevant records than a more general search would find, and use OR to find more.
  • AND -- Combine search terms with AND to find only records that contain both search terms.
  • OR -- Use OR to find records that contain either search term.
  • NOT -- Use NOT to find only records that do contain the search term preceding NOT but that do not contain the search term following NOT.

    Wildcard Operators Using wildcards to truncate a search.
  • '?' or '*' to substitute for alphanumeric characters to find records containing words with similar spelling.
  • '?' represents individual variable characters within a word
  • '*' substitutes mulitple characters and can be used as a prefix or suffix
