CAMERON WINTER - Live At Carnegie Hall CD/LP (Partisan Records)
Cameron Winter's Live at Carnegie Hall documents the Geese frontman's historic Dec 2025 performance. Alone at the piano, he reshapes songs from his acclaimed debut Heavy Metal and debuts three previously unreleased compositions. There is an undeniable sense of occasion running through the performance, capturing the momentous feeling of witnessing an artist stepping into the spotlight in real time. The release preserves one unforgettable night while cementing Winter's emergence as one of the defining voices of his generation, with the sense that this is only the beginning.
TEENAGE FANCLUB - Do Not Dare To Dream CD/LP (Merge Records)
Teenage Fanclub's Do Not Dare To Dream takes it's name from Norman Blake's ‘I Do Not Dare To Dream,’ an infectious anthemic song driven by ringing acoustic guitars, joined at the end by duelling electric guitars that wrap around each other like a reassuring hug. Teenage Fanclub's 13th album is full of songs that are calmly resolute, taking stock of the fraught state of the world without succumbing to despair. Blake's warm, organ-washed midtempo ballad ‘Day In The Sun’ and Raymond McGinley's ‘Over And Over’ both speak to how everyone can find a renewed sense of purpose by opening their hearts.
AJJ - Dirty Old Power CD/LP (AJJ Unlimited LTD)
For more than two decades, AJJ have made albums that try to make sense of an increasingly confusing world, finding small traces of hope and beauty in the wreckage. On their ninth album, Dirty Old Power, they confront the possibility that the right words may no longer exist. Dirty Old Power surveys a surreal American moment, where post-World War II capitalist power structures have curdled into techno-fascism, and where data centres, VR headsets, doomscrolling, and artificial versions of our loved ones are pushing humanity aside.
IDA - I Know About You (30th Anniversary Edition) CD/LP (Numero)
The only break-up record you'll ever need to own. With it's lofted harmonies, pick-pocket rhythms, and wailing-in-the-2am-distance ambulance guitar solos, Ida's 1996 sophomore album leaked out of Brooklyn via detachable car stereo CD players and mixtapes from long-distance lovers. Originally issued on the stalwart Simple Machines label, this 30th anniversary deluxe Numero edition of I Know About You adds half a dozen extras, a wealth of photographic evidence - tissues not included.
REMI WOLF - Mud CD/LP (Island)
If Remi Wolf's first two albums, 2021's Juno and 2024's Big Ideas, were in technicolor, her third LP Mud is it's more neutral, earthy and grounded sibling. Still colorful, as Wolf tends to be, but from a more rooted & grounded place. The rawness with which Wolf wrote the album is delivered in the sound: stripped away of synths and programmed drums, Mud is Remi Wolf at her most lyrically and sonically vulnerable. The songs evoke the feeling of singing around a campfire with just your friends and a couple guitars because that's how it felt for Wolf to make it. But to find the clearing in the forest, she needed to make a whole new trail first.
TALLEST MAN ON EARTH - Just Beyond Endless Mountain CD/LP (ANTI-)
For nearly twenty years, Swedish singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson has played his way around the world as The Tallest Man on Earth, carving out a singular place in contemporary folk music. His discography has long been heard through the lens of the American folk tradition. But Just Beyond Endless Mountain, out October 9th on Anti- Records, quietly turns that perspective on it's head. After returning to his native Dalarna in central Sweden, Matsson found himself listening to the music he had spent years trying to leave behind: the polskas, the old field recordings and the sounds of the local traditions that had surrounded him since childhood. The result is not a return to the past, but a step into new musical territory. Swedish folk music has reshaped his melodies, his voice, and the way he writes songs. The Tallest Man on Earth is back with his most deeply rooted album to date. Just Beyond Endless Mountain opens an unexpected new chapter in a career that has never settled for familiar ground.
KARATE BOOGALOO - Access All Areas CD/LP (Colemine Records)
May it please the people of the known universe that the multi-monikered musical ensemble legally trading as Kay-Bee Funk Music Group are releasing what will alphabetically be their first album, Access All Areas. Created with Karate Boogaloo's patented 'Lovely Recording Technique' these recordings let you know that everyone's a VIP when you're listening to KB. Every second of music was composed and produced with all hands on deck, mixing was handled by Henry Jenkins, artwork by Hudson Whitlock and Callum Riley, and Darvid Thor did things you'd have to see to believe. Music is a team sport and there's no I in Funk. Coming out on the two greatest record labels in the galaxy 'Colemine Records' from Loveland, USA, and College of Knowledge from Coburg, Australia, please listen to Karate Boogaloo's new album Access All Areas.
BODEGA - All Inside Aquarium CD/LP (Chrysalis)
Bodega's brand-new album All Inside Aquarium sees the band expanding far beyond their minimalist post-punk origins towards soaring anthemic rock, sans the 'indie'. The group's goal was, “Let's go back to melodic tunes, let's be more of a proper rock band,” Hozie explains. Sonically, the band aimed for this late '80's/early 90's Stone Roses-meets-Janes Addiction thing, with more riffing and guitar solos. Where the band's earlier material took a more explicitly sociopolitical bent, Hozie and Belfilgio's writing on All Inside Aquarium is deliberately more concerned with the personal, poetics, and play.
TOTAL WIFE - Come Back Down CD/LP (Julia's War)
Come Back Down, the new album by Nashville experimental-pop duo Total Wife, was born from the edge of sleep. When composer and producer Luna Kupper would begin to fall asleep during late-night mixing sessions, the songs would follow her into the halfway place between dream and lucidity. Like Dale Cooper in Twin Peaks, she'd wake with a new perspective on the puzzle she was piecing together. “I'm a psychological mixer - I'm trying to think of how someone's experiencing the sound, versus getting stuck in trying to make all these different tones and using all this gear to make something sound a certain way,” Kupper says. This reissue marks the one-year anniversary of the original release, now available on vinyl and CD for the first time.
JESS WILLIAMSON - Mile South Of Heaven CD/LP (New West Records)
Jess Williamson has built one of the most distinctive voices in American music - crystalline, acrobatic, and unmistakably her own. The Texas-born, Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist has spent the better part of a decade carving out her own lane at the intersection of indie folk, alt-country, and a deeply personal confessional tradition. Now, on her seventh studio album, she steps into new creative territory. Produced by Shooter Jennings, the album finds Williamson's artistry meeting it's ideal counterpart. Jennings brings a deep-roots sensibility and studio instinct honed across decades, and together they've crafted twelve songs that honor the grit and sweep of classic country while remaining unmistakably contemporary. Williamson's voice remains the central instrument: front and center, emotionally unguarded, carrying the kind of weight that demands a room go quiet. But with Jennings at the helm, the sonic canvas is richer and more expansive than anything in her catalog to date - full of texture, warmth, and that ineffable Nashville-meets-Laurel-Canyon atmosphere that lives somewhere between Linda Ronstadt and Waylon Jennings.
DEATH VALLEY GIRLS - Welcome To Earth LP (Suicide Squeeze)
The road to Death Valley Girls' Welcome to Earth begins in the ashes of California's Eaton Fire. After losing her home in Altadena and soon after her beloved dog Tommy, lead singer and songwriter Bonnie Bloomgarden confronted questions that resisted easy answers: What survives catastrophe? What remains after loss? How do you rebuild a life when the things that once defined it are gone? The album that emerged from those questions is among the most intimate and searching works Death Valley Girls have ever made.
VARIOUS - Antiyano Progresivo LP (Soundway Records)
Between the late 1960s and the mid-1980s, musicians across the Dutch Caribbean islands of Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten created music that crossed stylistic boundaries, forming a close-knit network shaped by common histories and identities, while rarely receiving wider recognition. From the psychedelic funk of local stars Sugar Ice Tea and Cryptus Confession to the Latin influences of visiting musicians like Puerto Rican star Mon Rivera via Surinamese-influenced soul and the garage rock of Los Honda, the islands nourished a huge array of styles and talent. Antiyano Progresivo unfolds against the backdrop of a rapidly transforming Caribbean. During the twentieth century, oil industries, migration and tourism reshaped the islands, creating unparalleled cultural exchange while deepening social divisions.
JAKE XERXES FUSSELL - Old Beloved Path LP (Fat Possum)
Old Beloved Path continues Jake Xerxes Fussell's exploration of American folk traditions through thoughtful interpretations and understated artistry. Blending traditional songs with contemporary sensibilities, the album highlights Fussell's warm vocals, expressive guitar work, and gift for uncovering timeless stories embedded within the American musical landscape
IMPERIAL TEEN - All Over You CD/LP (Merge Records)
Just beneath the sleek, confident guitar line that powers ‘Overdrive,’ the lead single of Imperial Teen's seventh studio album All Over You - out October 9, 2026 on the band's longtime home Merge Records - another guitar marks the time more impatiently, as if the groove it's locked into is the time bomb-tightness of a pre-hookup heartbeat. It's energy isn't nervous - after all, it's hard to be nervous with Will Schwartz cooing come-ons like “I just wanna get you in the bed / Light you up like a cigarette in your ear” - but it is urgent. Excited. Titillated. It is less a return from hiatus than a broadcast from the sonic utopia Imperial Teen has long ruled over, where the music is bratty and sexy and the parties don't stop until everyone's found euphoria. A rave-up for the mind, body, and soul, best enjoyed in a dark room packed with as many sweaty bodies as possible.
JEREMIAH CHIU - Edge Conditions LP (International Anthem)
Edge Conditions is a fresh look at the beat-forward electronic music of Jeremiah Chiu. In Electric Time, his 2023 first-thought-best-thought album recorded at the Vintage Synth Museum in LA, offered a glimpse a solo process and sound, fast becoming a fan favorite. In many ways this new work is a total reset. Following two ambient-leaning duo albums with Marta Sofia Honer and a pair of improvisatory trance-jazz LPs with LA quintet SML, Edge Conditions settles Chiu into a world of layered, alternately dance-able or chillout-able, rhythm excursions a la classic Four Tet or Aphex Twin.
CABARET VOLTAIRE - Code LP (Mute)
Experimental electronic pioneers Cabaret Voltaire return with a modern exploration of sound design, rhythm, and industrial textures.
ALEX CAMERON - Late To Set LP (Diggers Factory)
In January 2025 Alex Cameron exploded his life in a controlled detonation largely ignored by the universe. The charred remains of Cameron's life fragmented and reassembled into 9 synthetic rock songs detailing his world's deep confusion and regret. He continues to find pieces of his own reflection in the shattered characters he creates and embodies. The promised Messiah. Agamemnon's appetite for war. Mel Gibson's ransom note. Humanity's Pro-War destiny. A cold war breakup. These are songs of protest against life itself. This is the world our fathers feared and here is it's soundtrack.
CHLOE CAILLET - Dance Again LP (Ninja Tune)
NYC and Ibiza-based DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Chloé Caillet has quickly become one of dance music's most vital new voices. Known for kaleidoscopic DJ sets that recall the Balearic bliss of the '90s and a time before smartphones mediated the clubbing experience, Caillet has built a devoted global following through performances at places like Coachella, the Vanity Fair Oscars after party, and Ibiza's legendary Circoloco, alongside her queer-centered event series and label, SMIILE. Equally embraced by the underground and the fashion world, she has worked alongside brands including YSL, Miu Miu, Burberry, and Louis Vuitton, while earning support from peers such as Jamie xx, Honey Dijon, Seth Troxler, and The Blessed Madonna. Following the release of her debut EP Here To Make You Smile in 2024, Caillet now makes her Ninja Tune debut with Dance Again, a project she describes as a culmination of years of DJing and production, rooted in New York club culture and infused with an '80s and new-wave sensibility. Centered around the idea of reclaiming presence on the dance floor, the EP invites listeners to put their phones away and simply dance. Featuring collaborators Myd, Luke Alessi, and D Stone, Dance Again marks a major new chapter in Caillet's career, shifting the spotlight onto her work as a producer. Many of the tracks have already become staples of her DJ sets, earning early support from some of the biggest names in dance music. The vinyl edition includes exclusive extended versions of every track, bringing the full club experience home.

DAWN RICHARD - Creole Culture CD/LP (Merge Records)
Creole Culture, the new album by Dawn Richard - out October 9, 2026 on Merge Records - is a triumphant return to the sound of her King Creole era. Steeped in history but with it's flag planted firmly in the future, Creole Culture pulls elements from Richard's heritage as a Black and Native American woman who has spent a lifetime making and engaging with music. Following New Breed (2019) and Second Line (2021), Creole Culture is akin to a panel of a triptych: a fully-realized sonic and narrative universe in which Richard, as King Creole, rebuilds her hometown of New Orleans in her image. She not only honors her city for what it was or what it gave her, but stakes a claim for it as a cradle of global culture now and for all time.

NALA SINEPHRO - Space 1.8 LP [Reissue/2021] (Warp Records)
Nala Sinephro's acclaimed debut album Space 1.8 returns as a one-off double vinyl pressing to mark five years since it's release. The record has been newly cut across two discs.
JPEGMAFIA - Experimental Rap LP (Jpegmafia LLC)
Pioneering producer JPEGMAFIA returns with Experimental Rap, an era-defining magnum opus written, produced, and mixed entirely by JPEG, the album is a masterclass in left-field innovation, blending punk, rock, and his signature no-rules production. Challenging the boundaries of the genre, this record acts as both a display of power and a gauntlet thrown to the industry, reinforcing his position as modern rap's most fearless and consistent innovator.

PET SHOP BOYS - Man From The Future CD/LP (Parlophone)
A compelling electronic song cycle from the synth-pop legends, blending theatrical storytelling with sophisticated production.
HORSE JUMPER OF LOVE - Horse Jumper Of Love (10 Year Anniversary Ed.) LP (RUN FOR COVER)
Ten years ago, Horse Jumper of Love released their self-titled debut, one that not only launched their career but also inspired a generation of shoegaze artists to come. Recorded in a mill space studio by future longtime collaborator Bradford Krieger and first released in 2016 (before a re-issue by Run For Cover in 2017), Horse Jumper of Love introduced listeners to the band’s unique strain of expertly crafted minimalism and haunting lyricism. Tracks like “Orange Peeler” and “Ugly Brunette” capture a gritty melancholy and existentialism that is both youthful and timeless, angst-ridden and sincere. Now, a decade later, Horse Jumper of Love remains a beloved cult classic and a touchstone of the band’s continually developing brand of glacial, grungy indie rock. This 10 Year Anniversary Deluxe Edition LP features new tri-fold packaging with collaged ephemera from singer and songwriter Dimitri Giannopoulos’ years in Boston while writing the record, a 20-page sewn-in booklet featuring never before seen photos and drawings, and handwritten tablature for the record’s original 9 songs. Disc one includes the original album fully re-mastered, and the brand new second disc features 13 bonus tracks recorded between the years of 2013-2015, mostly by Dimitri at home on a Tascam Portastudio, including single “Heathers (2013)” which was an early version of what would later become “i love you very much forever” and other never before heard demos, b-sides, and alternate versions of the original songs.
NOFX - Wolves In Wolves Clothing LP [Reissue/2006] (Fat Wreck Chords)
Released in 2006, NOFX's tenth studio album, Wolves in Wolves' Clothing, is a blistering blend of aggressive political satire and melodic skate punk. Capturing the sociopolitical anxiety of the second Bush presidency, frontman Fat Mike sharpens his pen to target organized religion, corporate greed, and blind patriotism. Fan favorites like ‘Seeing Double at the Triple Rock’ and’ Leaving Jesusland’ showcase their signature fast tempos, tight harmonies, and dark humor.
SUN RA & HIS ARKESTRA - East Two +5 LP (Cosmic Myth Records)
East Two + 5 comprises previously unreleased tracks from one of Sun Ra's most productive periods: 1972-73. Those two hectic years saw Sun Ra recording numerous albums, staging concerts, teaching at Berkeley, acting in and composing the score for a full-length movie, embarking on a multi-album (though ill-fated) major label deal, and touring the U.S. and Europe. The title track, ‘East Two,’ is one of two pieces on this album originating at a two day October 1972 session at Chicago's Streeterville Studios. It's an ominous, sprawling processional, and the only known recording of this moody work. Arkestra baritone saxophonist Pat Patrick played electric bass on this session, which also featured Ra's typically idiosyncratic synth, along with fine solos from Kwame Hadi (trumpet) and Arkestra mainstay John Gilmore (tenor sax). The other track is an alternate version of ‘Rocket #9’ where Ra's voice is scarcely heard in the ensemble vocals in favor of the Space Ethnic Voices. Additional material is taken from 1973 Variety Studios sessions in NYC including ‘In Tomorrow's Realm,' where veteran Arkestra bassist Ronnie Boykins provided the anchor with his bass line forming it's vital rhythmic framework. This would be the final year Boykins worked regularly with Ra and this track is a fitting tribute to his role in the band, demonstrating how essential he was to Sun Ra's sound.
JOHN PRINE - Found Dogs CD/LP (Oh Boy Records)
John Prine's Found Dogs is a newly curated archival release celebrating the 30th anniversary of Lost Dogs & Mixed Blessings. Drawn from the original recording sessions and demos from the era, Found Dogs collects alternate versions, acoustic performances, and five previously unreleased tracks, offering a rare look into Prine's songwriting and studio process during a pivotal period of his career. Highlights include alternate takes of ‘Ain't Hurtin' Nobody’ and ‘Quit Hollerin' At Me,’ a solo acoustic version of ‘Humidity Built the Snowman,’ demos such as ‘Lake Marie,’ and unreleased recordings including ‘Hey Ah Nothin’,' ‘World Without Love,’ and ‘Dogs in Burlington.’ All tracks have been newly remastered for vinyl.
DANIELLE PONDER - Everything Has Changed LP (Dead Oceans)
Danielle Ponder is done waiting for a future version of herself to arrive. Now, the Rochester-born, Atlanta-rooted singer-songwriter is unapologetically living in the moment. This realization powers Everything Has Changed, Ponder's anticipated sophomore album (and debut on Dead Oceans in partnership with Phoebe Bridgers). The LP is Ponder's most self-assured statement to date: it was crafted through a period of immense transformation as the beloved vocalist propelled from being a lawyer to a full-fledged musical powerhouse. That artistic freedom threads the album, as heard on lead single, ‘Power,’ which serves as both a declaration and an affirmation for the Black diaspora. Other highlights include the revelatory ‘Sun and Moon,' the towering blues ballad ‘God of You,’ and the devastatingly vulnerable ‘Open Windows.’
BILL EVANS - California Here I Come (Verve Vault Series) LP [Reissue/1982] (Verve)
A treasured live recording showcasing the legendary pianist's lyrical touch, harmonic brilliance, and intimate trio interplay.
AHMAD JAMAL - Ahmad Jamal '73 (Verve Vault Series) LP [Reissue/1973] (Verve)
An adventurous jazz recording from the celebrated pianist, blending groove-oriented arrangements with inventive improvisation.

GOBLIN COCK - Traumanaut LP (Joyful Noise Records)
Goblin Cock's frontman, Lord Phallus, is a becloaked non-presence in a band of similarly vague personas, purposefully nebulous, but whereas their many imitators use this as an excuse to deepen some bankable lore, the members of Goblin Cock truly wish to be ignored. Traumanaut is the project's newest LP and sounds like a breath of unexpectedly fresh air, especially from such a quagmire of neurosis as this guy. At times so personal sounding that any normal songwriter might go to ridiculous lengths to distance themselves from it's honesty.
JOHNNY MARR - The Age Of Everything LP (BMG)
Johnny Marr's fifth solo album, recorded in Manchester after being road-tested across North America. Sharp and dynamic, it is the most cathartic record of his solo career, following 2022's Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 and led by the single “Spin."
