ANGEL DU$T - Cold 2 The Touch CD/LP (Run For Cover)
There's no other band like Angel Du$t. In fact, the singular group is almost defined by how far they stand apart from the pack. So if saying Angel Du$t aren't like anyone else is a no-brainer, then what are they like? Are they cutting edge genre-destroyers or one of the last authentic guitar bands standing? Are they blunt force aggression incarnate or earnest experimen-talists? Are they the hardcore version of an indie band or is it the other way around? You might ask yourself these kinds of questions while taking in the totality of Angel Dust's decade-plus journey-but the band's new album, Cold 2 The Touch, suggests that maybe it's not so complicated after all. Or as vocalist/mastermind Justice Tripp puts it: Angel Du$t is rock &roll. COLD 2 THE TOUCH captures this simple fact better than ever before.

OLYMPIANS - In Search Of A Revival CD/LP  (Daptone)
Thee Olympian, Toby Pazner, returns with In Search of a Revival -a lush bouquet of orchestral soul. A departure from the cosmic, Greco-Roman mythology themes on his debut, Pazner implements a more modern, terrestrial approach-drawing inspiration from his life and the tumultuous post pandemic age we live in. With a team of world class musicians expertly weaving his arrangements into a sonic tapestry, The Olympians deliver an impressively eclectic barrage of cinematic instrumentals.

REMEMBER SPORTS - Refrigerator LP (Get Better Records) Remember Sports have always sounded like a band in motion, chasing a feeling, chasing each other, sometimes running from themselves. Over the past decade, they've built a devoted following through bruising live shows, emotionally honest songs, and a sound that keeps evolving. Their new album, The Refrigerator, captures the messy, cathartic energy of transformation. Written in the aftermath of the pandemic, the record is shaped by grief, uncertainty, and a deep love for music and friendship. Songs wrestle with identity, memory, and growing up, balancing bratty catharsis with tenderness and reflection. For the first time, the band produced the album themselves, leaning fully into intuition and trust as they experimented with new textures and dynamics. The result is a vivid, emotionally charged document of survival, an album about becoming, about holding space for both joy and loss, and about finding your way back to yourself through sound, care, and connection.

JEFF BUCKLEY - Live At Sin-e 2xCD/4xLP [Reissue/2003] (Sony Legacy)
In a cramped club on the lower east side of Manhattan, armed with only an electric guitar, Jeff Buckley stunned audiences with his mysterious, emotionally uncompromising live sets, packed with eclectic covers and his own originals. The four-track Live at Sin-e EP, released in 1993 was his debut release for Columbia Records; here it's expanded in a deluxe 2CD/4xLP edition with an eight-page, full color booklet of photos and liner notes. The set includes live versions of favorites like ‘Grace,’ 'Last Goodbye’ and Leonard Cohen's ‘Hallelujah.’

CHARLI XCX - Wuthering Heights CD/LP/CASS (Atlantic)
Wuthering Heights is the second soundtrack album by British singer Charli XCX. It was created for the film of the same name.

BAT FOR LASHES - Fur And Gold Deluxe Edition CD/LP [Reissue/2006] (BMG)
Bat for Lashes' acclaimed debut album, Fur and Gold, introduced Natasha Khan as one of the most distinctive voices in 21st-century art-pop. Originally released in 2006 and later nominated for the Mercury Prize, the album blends mythical storytelling, haunting piano melodies, and rich, layered production to create a world both dreamlike and deeply emotional. With standout tracks like ‘What's a Girl to Do?’ and ‘Horse and I,’ Fur and Gold offers a spellbinding mix of folk, electronica, and baroque pop that has earned it cult classic status. A must-have for collectors and fans of visionary, genre-defying music. Newly remastered at Abbey Road Studios. Deluxe 2 CD set includes 9 bonus tracks of previously unreleased material.

GOGOL BORDELLO - We Mean It Man LP (Casa Gogol)
For this Gogol Bordello album, songwriter Eugene Hutz set out to blend post-punk textures and aggro to Gogol Bordello's free-wheeling gypsy-punk - He chose to work with the production team of Nick Launay (Gang of Four, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Idles) and Adam Atom Greenspan (Nick Cave, Idles, Flogging Molly) to accomplish this goal - Together with his long running band, they knocked out twelve super punchy and hook-laden songs.

SHOULD - Feed Like Fishes LP [Reissue/1998] (Numero)
You like your lo-fi dreamgaze like you like your men: born in the '90s and shacked up with their college girlfriend in a suburban bedroom. Compiled here for the first time is Should's 1998 debut Feed Like Fishes plus 10 period bonus tracks, on vinyl for the first time ever. Sounds like a head hanging out of a car window while speeding down a county road, three hours past curfew on a school night. Go ahead and turn the headlights off.

JOHN DOE - Forever Hasn't Happened Yet (Yep Roc Records)
This is the first time John Doe's critically-acclaimed 2005 record Forever Hasn't Happened Yet has been available on vinyl. This is not punk rock but it uses all the same ingredients; sex, drugs, death, loss, longing and alienation. The difference is the speed and melody of the songs which are set in a beautiful but harsh landscape. This is Americana like the scariest blues and the saddest country can be. This is a record made the way Muddy Waters would make records, all thrown into a very small and sweaty room until the song squeezes through the cracks. Neko Case, Kristin Hersh, Cindy Lee Berryhill and Veronica Jane (Doe's 16 year old daughter) provide the female foil that was Exene's role in X and Exene contributes by co-writing Hwy 5, a duet with Neko. Grant-Lee Phillips and Dave Alvin lend their unique talents in beautiful, heart-wrenching and savage electric songs respectively. Not for the faint of heart, this album was recorded in ultra black and white.

MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES - Let's Face It LP [Reissue/1997] (Mercury)
After 14 years of being one of the originators of the ska-punk scene, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones released their 1997 breakthrough album, Let's Face It, on Mercury Records. Featuring fan favorites, ‘The Rascal King,’ ‘Royal Oil,’ and the #1 hit, ‘The Impression That I Get.’ Now, their multiplatinum album is available remastered on vinyl.

LUKE TEMPLE - Hungry Animal LP (Western Vinyl)
Lauded for his contributions to Here We Go Magic and Art Feynman, Luke Temple brings his signature off-kilter grooves and melodies to his new project Luke Temple and the Cascading Moms, where you can hear influences from the likes of Dire Straits and The Velvet Underground, with a touch of jazz sensibility.

DANNY L HARLE - Cerulean LP (XL Recordings)
Danny L Harle's album Cerulean marks his first full-length release on XL Recordings and his most definitive artistic statement to date. Following 2021's immersive Harlecore project, Harle considers Cerulean his true debut. Harle's wide-ranging influences - from hedonistic rave to the haunting Dark Souls video game series, Philip Glass's Einstein on the Beach, and Renaissance composers John Dowland, Thomas Tallis, and William Byrd - underpin the album's dazzling, genre (and centuries)-spanning focus.

STAN GETZ & OSCAR PETERSON - Stan Getz And The Oscar Peterson Trio LP [Reissue/1957] (Verve)
Stan Getz and the Oscar Peterson Trio, released in 1958 on Verve Records, documents a rare meeting between two contrasting but complementary jazz greats: the cool-toned tenor saxophonist Stan Getz and the hard-driving Oscar Peterson Trio. Produced by Norman Granz and recorded in Hollywood in October 1957, the session finds Getz joining a veteran rhythm section already regarded as one of the most cohesive in jazz: Peterson on piano, Herb Ellis on guitar, and Ray Brown on bass. While Getz was often heard in more subdued or orchestrated contexts during this period, this session highlights his command of bebop language and small-group swing. Peterson's trio, known for it's drive and responsiveness, adapts fluidly to Getz's tone and phrasing, yielding a session marked by relaxed interplay, rhythmic clarity, and understated virtuosity. The Verve Vault series is always mastered from analog tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.

SONNY ROLLINS - Brass/Trio LP [Reissue/1958] (Verve)
Brass/Trio, released in 1958 on Verve Records, is an unusual two-sided statement from saxophonist Sonny Rollins - pairing a full brass ensemble session on one side with a stripped-down saxophone trio on the other. The first half features Rollins with a brass ensemble arranged and conducted by Ernie Wilkins, recorded in New York in July 1958. The lineup includes trumpeter Harry Sweets Edison, trombonists J.J. Johnson and Jimmy Cleveland, and tuba player Don Butterfield, supported by a rhythm section of pianist Dick Katz, guitarist Rene Thomas, bassist Henry Grimes, and drummer Roy Haynes. The second half was recorded days later in Los Angeles with bassist Henry Grimes and drummer Specs Wright - a pared-down trio setting that emphasizes Rollins' rhythmic command and melodic elasticity. The Verve Vault Series is always mastered from analog tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.

BUNDLE OF HISS - Audio Design Sessions 1987-1988 LP (Bang! Records)
Between 1987 and 1988, when Seattle was still a circuit of small clubs, four-track tapes and bands sharing drummers, Jack Endino went in to record one of the most solid—and most unfairly invisible—outfits of that scene: Bundle Of Hiss. Those sessions fell into limbo, stored in the basement of Dan Peters (who would soon go on to Mudhoney ) and for years they were a kind of pre-grunge legend: everyone knew they existed, but there was no record, until Loveless Records from NYC released it on CD. This Bang! Records LP is, finally, that record. It gathers the core of those 1987-1988 recordings done by Endino: the moment when the band is tighter, darker and closer to what the press would later call the "Seattle sound": minor-key melodies, thick fuzz, vocals on the edge, and that mix of hard rock, punk and Sabbath-like heaviness fans would later hear in Mudhoney, TAD or early Soundgarden. Bang! Records is releasing this album on vinyl for the first time, just as it should have come out in the late '80s: a basement document turned into a collectible artifact. For those who want real grunge, not the domesticated version. Here is Bundle of Hiss exactly as Jack Endino captured them in 1987-1988.

VARIOUS ARTISTS - The World Can't Stand Long LP (Mississippi Records)
A compilation of truly janky garage rock from the mid 1960's! Almost to the level of shambolic The Shaggs reach. Emotions run deep, heavy and real. The truth as only the kids can tell it…..

OLU DARA - In the World—From Natchez to New York LP [Reissue/1998] (Real Gone Music)
Critics everywhere agreed that Olu Dara’s In the World—From Natchez to New York was one of 1998’s best albums. The only problem was, in what category? Jazz? Dara came to this album with impeccable credentials in the genre, having played with David Murray, James “Blood” Ulmer, Henry Threadgill, and Don Pullen. However, though Dara does flash his burnished cornet tone on occasion, he is more often picking on guitar as opposed to blowing on trumpet on this record. And while there is definitely some of that arpeggiated African guitar sound to his playing, it would be a stretch to call In the World a “world music” release. No, in the end, this is a country blues album from the urban jungle, an utterly charming, all-in-one tour of Natchez and New York with maybe Nairobi thrown in there, with a little extra urban flavor courtesy of Dara’s rapper son Nas, who contributes vocals to “Jungle Jay.” Long a favorite of our Real Gone Music staff, In the World—From Natchez to New York debuts on vinyl in a green okra edition limited to 1000 copies, remastered for the format with insert included. Highly recommended!

SUN RA - Exotica LP [Reissue/2017]  (Modern Harmonic)
