SNOCAPS - Snocaps CD/LP (ANTI-)
Allison and Katie Crutchfield have formed a new band called Snocaps. Their 13-track debut album, released digitally as a surprise, is now available on vinyl & CD formats. An indie-rock record that recalls Allison's band Swearin' and Katie's early records as Waxahatchee, Snocaps was born out of the twin sisters' desire to work on music together as they had in their teens and twenties. Allison and Katie are backed by friends and close collaborators Brad Cook and MJ Lenderman. The album was produced and almost entirely engineered by Cook, and all four musicians play multiple instruments across the record. After a handful of shows at the end of 2025, Snocaps will be put on ice for the foreseeable future, although, as Katie says, “Allison and I have been, in some way, shape or form, doing this together for over 20 years,  so it is practically a given that they will work together on music at some point again in the future.”

BRENT FAIYAZ - Icon  CD/LP (Iso Supremacy)
Brent Faiyaz’s most expansive and intentional body of work to date—an album shaped by the rhythm of the four seasons and the emotional evolution that comes with change. Moving fluidly from moments of vulnerability to confidence and clarity, ICON captures the cycles of growth, loss, renewal, and transformation that define both personal and creative maturity.

ANDERSON PAAK - Malibu (10 Year Anniversary) LP (Apeshit Inc)
Ten years ago, Anderson.Paak didn't just release an album; he staged a full-scale takeover of the soul and hip-hop landscape. Released on January 15, 2016, Malibu served as the definitive arrival of an artist who had spent years grinding in the underground before a star-making turn on Dr. Dre's Compton. While his previous work hinted at his potential, Malibu was the moment the world met the Cheeky Andy persona in full-a virtuosic drummer, a raspy-voiced crooner, and a sharp-witted rapper all rolled into one. The album is a sprawling, sun-drenched journey through the Southern California coast, blending 1970s funk, church-reared gospel, and gritty boom-bap into something that feels both nostalgic and entirely futuristic. A decade later, Malibu stands as a modern classic and the blueprint for the soulful revivalism that would eventually lead.

JANE REMOVER - Heart LP (Deadair)
Jane Remover is something of an internet legend. They are credited with playing a key role in the creation of the digicore music microgenre, an overstimulated relative of hyperpop. In fact, everything Jane Remover does has an overdose of stimuli: their songs are like the Tasmanian devil from Looney Tunes. A whirlwind of warped and excessive digital pop.

YOT CLUB - Simpleton LP (Alternate Side)
Simpleton, the third album from multi-platinum indie-rock singer/songwriter YOT CLUB, dismantles the utopian view of the American suburbs, treating finely manicured life as a mirage. Across it's 13 tracks, the LP (released via Amuse) wrestles with how gated neighborhoods, curated feeds, and predictable routines can blur, and even erase, empathy and responsibility, creating a walled-off world where difficult questions and harsh realities are easy to ignore.

ELUCID & SEBB BASH - I Guess U Had To Be There CD/LP (Backwoodz Studioz)   Two turntables and a microphone. There is a truth in the clarity of that simple coda, a truth that also belies the breadth of what is possible within it's confines. Sometimes you gotta get reminded. I Guess U Had To Be There, the new album from NYC rapper ELUCID and veteran producer Sebb Bash, is one of those ones. So fresh it sounds like it was made tomorrow, but bet money you could put this on in '89 and get heads bopping. There are moments in music when masters of their craft cross paths at the height of their respective powers-records like Madvillainy, Liquid Swords, Dr. Octagonecologyst, and Hell Hath No Fury-where the result is more than the sum of it's parts. ELUCID and Sebb Bash find themselves in this heady, seemingly effortless ephemera on I Guess U Had To Be There. Everything is both familiar and groundbreaking. The beats shift and flip under ELUCID's feet but he tightropes it all, delivery nimble as a mountain goat, producer and rapper moving in perfect synchronization. Some shining stars make memorable appearances: billy woods, Breezly Brewin, Estee Nack, Shabaka Hutchings. But this is a two-man show, and the duo keep the spotlight where it belongs. I Guess U Had To Be There is a captivating, convention-defying listen and a high water mark for two of the best artists in the genre.

VELVET UNDERGROUND  - Loaded (Rhino High Fidelity) LP (Rhino)
AAA Cut From The Original Stereo Master Tapes By Kevin Gray. Pressed On 180-Gram Heavyweight Vinyl At Optimal. Heavyweight Glossy Gatefold Jacket

WINSTON HIGHTOWER - 100 Acre Wood LP (K. Records)
100 Acre Wood is a co-release presented by K and Perennial. One man in love with the sound of American lofi. What is in the ashtray of Winston Hightower's 'Day in the Life'? 14 songs that give carefree camouflage to a wistful heart -it's radiant throughout. A player piano who can't play piano transposing his melodies on guitar. Pleasant tones layered with conversations with himself. When he looks in the mirror what does this Ohio Player see? Nudge Squidfish? Daniel Johnson? Studio One Oldies Comps? Over 126 songs on tape later we are still figuring it out.

KARATE - Pockets LP [Reissue/2004] (Numero)
Karate’s defiant and final studio album punctuates a 12-year discography that spanned hardcore-style catharsis to feedback-saturated improv. This ’04 classic skipped the Friendster migration for back-to-basics songwriting suffused with jazz phrasings and beat-inspired lyricism. Featuring Codeine/Come guitarist Chris Brokaw, Pockets is remastered from the original analog tapes and housed in a deluxe tip on sleeve with reproduction lyric sheet.

TEEN SUICIDE - Nude Descending Staircase Headless LP (Run For Cover)
Teen Suicide's seventh LP is due this spring via Run For Cover Records. The album marks the band's first full-length release in three years, following honeybee table at the butterfly feast, which found renewed attention through tracks like you were my star, a breakout success on TikTok. Originally formed in 2010 as a side project of Sam Ray, Teen Suicide gradually evolved while remain- ing a passion-driven endeavor. Since 2017, the lineup has included Kitty Ray, and in 2022 the band officially became a full-time project with the addition of drummer Niko Wood. Together, the trio began writing and recording their upcoming LP, Nude descending staircase headless. The album represents a series of firsts for the band: their first record recorded in a professional studio, their first release written and recorded as a full-time band, and their first since 2012 to feature a dedicated drummer throughout.

PROTOJE - Art Of Acceptance LP (Diggers Factory)
Protoje, the Grammy-nominated pioneer of the Reggae Revival movement, returns with his most ambitious project to date: The Art Of Acceptance. Following the critical success of Third Time's The Charm, this double-LP odyssey bridges the gap between traditional roots and the future of the genre. Featuring heavy-hitting collaborations with Damian Jr. Gong Marley, Stephen Marley, Shenseea, and Masicka, the album is a sonic testament to Protoje's role as both a student of Jamaican music history and a visionary architect of it's future.

ACCESSORY - Dust LP (Love Song Dance)
Accessory is the solo project of Jason Balla (of Dehd), a Chicago-based songwriter and multi-disciplinary artist. Their work centers on the conflict between optimism and melancholy, holding their seemingly infinite weight with equal perspective and grace, pointing to their correspondence through curious and complex melodic experiences that mimic the tension of the natural and digital world. Their debut album Dust is where the celestial meets the molecular. Angels, shooting stars, and lightning converse with blood, serotonin, and calcium. In an era of live- streamed pain and overwhelming apathy, Balla composed these songs to put their world in order, to get to the human heart of it all, processing the decay for himself and for anyone else feeling the ache of pessimism and hopelessness.

EAVES WILDER - Little Miss Sunshine LP  (Secretly Canadian)
In April 2026, Eaves Wilder releases her eagerly anticipated debut album Little Miss Sunshine. The record marks a stellar evolutionary leap for the North Londonsinger-songwriter who first came to attention back in 2020, aged 16, with her self-recorded lockdown release Won't You Be Happy. Eaves began working on Little Miss Sunshine after a period of reflection which saw her question whether she could ultimately do justice to the music in her head. Time spent with the record will reveal ten songs that look to the cycles of nature to explain and celebrate the emotional weather that makes us human.
