MARK PRITCHARD / THOM YORKE - Tall Tales CD/LP (Warp Records)
Also available as deluxe CD and LP sets with booklet and bespoke coffee table book packaging. Mark Pritchard & Thom Yorke are set to release their debut album as a duo via Warp Records. Tall Tales showcases Pritchard’s mastery of archaic machines unearthed in synthesizer archives, guiding the music down unexpected and experimental paths. Yorke meanwhile delivers a haunting and expansive vocal performance, evoking Radiohead’s OK Computer-era digital FX while delving into dark, introspective storytelling. Visual collaborator Jonathan Zawada’s artistry enhances the project with his hyperreal environments that juxtapose uneasy landscapes of natural beauty with the brutal aesthetics of a dystopian world.
HEAD & THE HEART - Aperture CD/LP (Verve)
Sun was made for coming out, even though the night is long. Aperture - The Head and the Heart's sixth album and first since signing to Verve Forecast - is the affirming work of a band finding again it's shared footing, reaching unimagined levels of camaraderie and mutual risk as one. With every song fortified by the sense of beginning again, Aperture is The Head and the Heart's most vital and poignant album. Featuring tracks like the album's beautifully arcing opener ‘After the Setting Sun’ and the mighty anthem ‘Arrow,’ Aperture is a stunning testament to the collaborative work of a band who decided to let in the light, return to their roots, and forge a new path, together as one.
RILO KILEY - That's How We Choose To Remember It CD/LP (Saddle Creek)
After a long absence, Rilo Kiley—Jenny Lewis, Blake Sennett, Jason Boesel, and Pierre “Duke” de Reeder— are back, with arms outstretched. Over the years, a reunion “felt like a possibility, but it was never the right time,” explains Boesel. “Planning this reunion over these past months has been like reconnecting with family. We haven’t missed a beat,” says De Reeder. “The stakes are only to have a good time, to revel in this nostalgia. Getting to revisit and celebrate the music from that special time of our lives while experiencing it alongside a lot of people that lived it with us back when, and new folks alike.” The new Rilo Kiley album, That’s How We Choose to Remember It, is collection of career-spanning songs that hit it’s audience with a breath of honest, fresh air. “ For some people, Rilo Kiley evokes a formative, emotional time in life, when you were maybe grasping for your place in the universe. We were too,” says Sennett. We’ve all got a memory or two with the songs of Rilo Kiley. Maybe belting “I Never” or requesting “The Frug,” at a show in the early 2000s. This latest collection celebrates the music so deeply held by many of us. Here’s to Rilo Kiley, their reunion, and the next generation of listeners to love this band as much as we do. Long live Rilo Kiley.
JEFFREY LEWIS - EVEN MORE Freewheelin Jeffrey Lewis CD/LP (Don Giovanni)
The EVEN MORE Freewheelin’ Jeffrey Lewis was recorded in just four days in Nashville, by Roger Moutenot (long-time producer of Yo La Tengo, and the previous Jeffrey Lewis album Bad Wiring), and features the Jeffrey Lewis & The Voltage touring band of Brent Cole on drums, Mem Pahl on bass and Mallory Feuer on violin and keyboard. Jeffrey’s style of “anti-singing” continues to reach for the humanity behind the artifice, mirroring the nudity of the album cover. One snowy February day in 1963, Bob Dylan and Suze Rotolo were photographed in New York City for the cover of The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan LP, around the corner from Dylan’s 4th Street apartment. 60 years later, lifelong 4th St resident Jeffrey Lewis had the idea to try to take the same chilly photo but with no pants on, to prove himself “even more” freewheelin’ than Bob! This plan was foiled by global warming, as New York City winters no longer offer snowy street photo ops, but at least Jeffrey tried.
MCLUSKY - The World Is Still Here And So Are We CD/LP (Ipecac)
Having formed in the late nineteen-nineties and releasing music, if that is what it was, from 2000-2004, Mclusky disbanded soon afterwards in a slow motion farce of not enough drama to get much press off the back of it. Now they are back fueled initially by spite but now enjoying it too much not to do it, and playing to crowds in the UK, US and Australia which are much bigger - and more hygienically inclined - than in their so-called heyday. So far nobody has complained, except for one guy in Leeds (and he was clearly on ketamine). They are writing a new album - entitled the world is still here and so are we due for release in May 2025.
SLEIGH BELLS - Bunky Becky Birthday Boy CD/LP (Mom+Pop)
Sleigh Bells - comprised of producer/guitarist Derek Miller and singer Alexis Krauss - announce their seventh album Bunky Becky Birthday Boy via Mom+Pop Music. The album has gone on to sell over 200,000 records, with hit singles “How Long Do I Have to Wait” and “This Land is Your Land” streaming in the hundreds of millions—staggering figures for a wholly independent release.
ARCADE FIRE - Pink Elephant CD/LP (Columbia)

LIGHTNIN HOPKINS- California Mudslide LP [Reissue/1969] (Vault Records)
Lightnin' Hopkins' legendary Vault LP California Mudslide, now reissued for very the first time on heavyweight color edition vinyl. A true Texas Bluesman, Hopkins learned guitar on a cigar-box with chicken-wire strings at age eight and by ten, was jamming with icons like Blind Lemon Jefferson and Texas Alexander. Despite being recorded in the 1960s, these tracks echo the soulful essence of the 1920s. Hopkins' career spanned six-decades with a distinctive style that never wavered. Renowned for his sharp wit and unyielding swagger, often sporting a tilted porkpie hat and Ray-Bans, Hopkins embodied the essence of blues culture. Enjoy this record once again, played in the key of Lightin' Hopkins.
ROYKSOPP - True Electric LP (Dog Triumph)
On True Electric, Röyksopp, the acclaimed electronic duo of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Bruntland, have gathered together 19 studio versions of the music from their 2023 True Electric Tour. The album consists of recordings and renditions, meant to capture the essence of our live shows bearing the same name. The idea was to put an emphasis on the clubbier aspects of our music, as well as returning to our roots within the realms of electronic music. True Electric features the previously unreleased track The 'R' as well as newly-reworked versions of originals and remixes taken from their acclaimed catalog including: the celebrated Robyn collaboration Do It Again, Running To The Sea featuring Susanne Sundfør, What Else Is There? featuring Fever Ray, and several tracks from their critically acclaimed Profound Mysteries creative universe that resulted in three albums over 2022.

TIM HEIDECKER - Fear Of Death LP (Bloodshot)
Fear of Death is a Serious Album about Serious Topics – a doomed future, abandoning life in the city, and the inevitability of death. It’s Heidecker’s biggest sounding and most fleshed out album yet featuring an all star band comprised of Weyes Blood’s Natalie Mering (vocals and piano), Drew Erickson (Jonathan Wilson, Dawes), The Lemon Twigs’ Brian and Michael D’Addario, Jonathan Rado, and string arrangements by Spacebomb’s Trey Pollard (Foxygen, Bedouine, The Waterboys, Natalie Prass).
BELA FLECK - Flight Of The Cosmic Hippo LP [Reissue/1991] (Real Gone)
How many albums virtually upend a genre? And how many erstwhile bluegrass bands top a contemporary jazz chart?! The answer to these questions, is, one, very few, and two, only Béla Fleck & the Flecktones! Their second album, 1991’s fancifully entitled Flight of the Cosmic Hippo, did indeed top Billboard’s contemporary jazz albums chart and scored a couple of Grammy noms. But more importantly, this record really made explicit the Flecktones’ bebop leanings, as they devised the term “Blu-Bop” to describe their unique fusion of bluegrass and jazz. Stylistic whiplash has never felt so good or sounded so sweet; check out their warm, instrumental wizardry on chestnuts like “Michelle” and “The Star Spangled Banner”…and don’t miss Béla’s banjo power chords on “Turtle Rock!” We had Mike Milchner at Sonic Vision remaster this classic for vinyl for maximum fidelity, and gave it a repress in cobalt blue vinyl limited to just 900 copies. Essential
BOTTLE ROCKETS - The Brooklyn Side LP [Reissue/1994] (Real Gone)
The Bottle Rockets’ 1994 record The Brooklyn Side ranks right up there with Uncle Tupelo’s Anodyne in the pantheon of alt country albums…yet it has NEVER seen a widespread release on vinyl. We hooked up with original producer Eric “Roscoe” Ambel and mastering engineer Scott Hull to score the original tapes and create an all-analog release of this legendary record…but we didn’t stop there. We’ve also added six bonus tracks to flesh out this 2-LP Expanded Edition, winding up with the track that started it all, Brian Henneman’s “Indianapolis.” Reissued with the full consent and cooperation of the band!
DEVO - Recombo Dna LP (Futurismo)
Spuds rejoice. After years of requests, Futurismo are thrilled to announce a brand new limited pressing of the DEVO's incredible Recombo DNA 4xLP with Mini CD Set. For decades Devo have been working non-stop at Recombo DNALaboratories on a new kind of research to keep up with the mutating world around us. That extensive research is now ready for public consumption once again. Futurismo were the first to bring you this on vinyl and now they present unhindered access into Devo's labs, documenting the scientific analysis and demonstrations as conducted by the band between the years 1977-2008. This tireless research has manifested itself in Recombo DNA... an unmissable collection of studio demos and unreleased rare tracks that span DEVO's entire recording career, from their original basement days to their famed 'Freedom Of Choice' era, right the way through to unused demos from their last studio album. You may know the track 'Baby Doll' but do you know it's original incarnation as 'Satan'? If you submit to the findings of Recombo DNA Labs you will, Futurismo's version of this compilation included six bonus tracks taken from the archives that had never been released, or even heard before.

SHEL SILVERSTEIN - Drain My Brain LP (Reel)
Drain My Brain might just be the most aptly named record of the 20th century. It's a pure stream of consciousness from the brilliant and one-of-a-kind artist, Shel Silverstein. Whatever this album represents, Silverstein had to let it out, and you'll want to let it in!

SPACEY JANE - If That Makes Sense LP (Fantasy)
Australian indie rock band Spacey Jane are back with a new album, the quartet's most accomplished and ambitious to date, produced by Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, MUNA, The 1975). If That Makes Sense - often used as a query without a question mark, a request for reassurance that can signal a lack of confidence in what's being expressed. And yet, Spacey Jane have never sounded bigger, brighter, or more self-assured.
FREEDOM AFFAIR - The Freedom Affair LP (Colemine)
The Freedom Affair has planted deep roots in soul music from their start, but after nearly a decade together, the group’s self-titled sophomore album focuses their sound squarely where Muscle Shoals meets Memphis Soul. It’s a masterstroke of impassioned message-music exploring ageless themes of inequity, love, and togetherness. A fateful February 2023 encounter with Grammy Award-winning recording engineer Boo Mitchell (Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, Al Green) at Royal Studios created a spark that sent the band back to Kansas City with new musical conviction. By November, the band had returned to record all-new Southern Soul-inspired songs in the legendary Memphis studio. The ever-powerful female trio fronting the band–Paula Saunders, Seyko Groves, and Shon Ruffin–has been the hallmark of The Freedom Affair’s sound and identity, and their collective vocal prowess is on full display ranging from tough to tender, touching on heartache and hope.
JOHN CARPENTER - Lost Themes 10th Anniversary LP (Sacred Bones)
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Lost Themes, Sacred Bones are thrilled to present an expanded art edition of the album with art by Greg Ruth. Upon it's initial release, Lost Themeswas praised for it's evocative soundscapes ranging from horror to science fiction, each track conjuring a distinct atmosphere without the need for accompanying visuals. The expanded edition of Lost Themes not only celebrates a decade of John Carpenter's standalone musical journey but also enriches the album's legacy with new material that captures the spirit of it's original sessions. Whether revisiting this masterpiece or experiencing it for the first time, listeners will find themselves immersed in Carpenter's hauntingly beautiful worlds once again.
