ADRIAN QUESADA - Boleros Psicodelicos II CD/LP (ATO Records)  
Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated artist Adrian Quesada (of Black Pumas) returns with the 2nd volume in his acclaimed Boleros Psicodélicos project. The new volume features special guests Cuco, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Ed Maverick, iLe, Angelica Garcia and more. The project is inspired by the late '60s/'70s when Latin American balladry was highly influenced by psychedelia. With this new album, Adrian pursued a more expansive and modern sound with co-producer Alex Goose (Childish Gambino, Aaron Frazer).

DURAND JONES & THE INDICATIONS - Flowers CD/LP (Dead Oceans)
After more than a decade of music-making, Durand Jones & The Indications have blossomed as a unit and are basking in their successes. On their aptly titled new album, Flowers, The Indications unfurl their true colors embracing all their roots and influences, maturation and confidence, and share them with the world. Since forming in 2012, the road has taken The Indications from those origins at Indiana University, Bloomington to the global stage, selling out shows across Europe, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand to the West Coast where DJI has a strong following among the lowrider and vintage soul enthusiasts.For as far as Durand Jones & The Indications have come, Flowers grew from the desire to return to their roots in a Bloomington basement, a space where they first found camaraderie in gritty funk and Southern soul that would inspire their self-titled debut. Pulling sonically and spiritually from each of the group's previous releases and solo work, Flowers is the next stage of DJI's inspired soulful discography. DJI are not only accepting their flowers, but indulging in their sweet and sexy fragrance.

BILLY WOODS - Golliwog CD/LP (Backwoodz Studioz)
Golliwog is Billy Woods' first album in two years, preceded by 2023’s Maps, his second collaboration with producer Kenny Segal. That nimble travelogue has little in common with woods' newest work, despite the fact that Segal shows up a couple times in the credits. Golliwog is a haunting collection that weaves horror, humor, surrealism and Afro-pessimism into a cinematic tapestry, aided and abetted by a murderer's row of producers. African zombies, time traveling trap cars, malevolent ragdolls and a dying Frantz Fanon are just a few of the revelers in woods' danse macabre. Golliwog features production from The Alchemist, Kenny Segal, ELP, Conductor Williams, Preservation, Messiah Musik, Sadhugold, Ant(Atmosphere), Shabaka Hutchings, Steel Tipped Dove, DJ Haram, WillieGreen, Jeff Markey, Saint Abdullah, and LA-based experimental jazz trio Human Error Club. Meanwhile, Woods is joined on the mic by Backwoodz labelmates ELUCID and Cavalier, along with rappers Bruiser Wolf, Despot, Al. Divino, and singer-songwriter Yolanda Watson. Golliwog is another triumph in the woods oeuvre, as layered and compelling as anything he has ever done. A black carnival pitched in a muddy field overnight, empty rides whirring and clattering in the dark.

TURNPIKE TROUBADOURS  - The Price of Admission  CD/LP (Bossier City Records)
The eagerly awaited follow up to their widely acclaimed 2023 album, A Cat in the Rain, The Price of Admission was produced by Shooter Jennings and further cements the band as an undeniable force in the music world, showcasing their "superior, tightly-knit musicianship and ever maturing, evocative lyricism" (Billboard). Since their 2005 debut, Turnpike Troubadours has released six studio albums including 2023's A Cat in the Rain, which was released to overwhelming acclaim. The Associated Press praised, "they've returned with the kind of ferocity that feels destined to put them right back on that long-term upward trajectory... The earnestness is palpable," while Spin proclaimed, "the Oklahoma group is better than ever... one of the most beloved groups in country and roots music." Originally from Tahlequah, OK, Turnpike Troubadours is Evan Felker (vocals, guitar), Kyle Nix (fiddle), Ryan Engleman (electric guitar), RC Edwards (bass), Gabe Pearson (drums) and Hank Early (steel, accordion).

FRANKIE COSMOS - Different Talking CD/LP/CASS (Sub Pop)
Different Talking, the sixth and, so far, best album by NYC indie-rock four-piece Frankie Cosmos, seems to exist across time and space, as we all kind of do. It's a collection of fragments and memories, remembered places, and reinterpreted feelings that adds up to a lucent, humming whole: a sturdy, worldly indie-rock record about aging and the passage of time that nonetheless manages to feel sharply current. Frankie Cosmos' lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter Greta Kline has long been heralded as one of contemporary indie music's most deft and most necessary writers, but on Different Talking, her lyrics soften out slightly, the wry cynicism that defined recent records now giving way to an acknowledgment of the awesome, and necessary, fallibility of the human brain and heart. To classify Different Talking as a return to form, or at least a return to the lush directness of earlier Frankie Cosmos records, would be rude but also wholly incorrect: as Different Talking makes clear, you can never return to the comfort and bravery of your early twenties, but that person always kind of lives inside you, no matter how much you change.

LORDE - Virgin CD/LP (Republic Records)
Co-produced by Lorde and Jim-E Stack, with contributions from Devonte Hynes (Blood Orange), Dan Nigro, Fabiana Palladino, Buddy Ross, and Andrew Aged, Virgin is the sound of Lorde returning to the beat-driven and raw lyricism that propelled Pure Heroine and Melodrama to commercial and critical success. Preceded by lead single ‘What Was That,’ which peaked at #1 on the US Spotify Chart, Virgin marks the return of a truly generational artist.

GREET DEATH - Die In Love CD/LP (Deathwish Inc)
First full length album since 2019. Coming off of big support tours in the last few years with Say Anything, Foxing, and The World is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die where they have seen their audience continually grow. They plan to be on the road as much as possible promoting the album this fall and into 2026.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - Lost And Found: Selections From The Lost Albums CD/LP (Sony Legacy)
Lost And Found: Selections From The Lost Albums is a curated collection of 20 previously unreleased songs from Springsteen's Tracks II: The Lost Albums box set. These recordings illuminate key chapters in Springsteen's storied career, offering fans unprecedented insight into his creative process. “The Lost Albums were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released, Springsteen reveals. I've played this music to myself and often close friends for years now. I'm glad you'll get a chance to finally hear them. I hope you enjoy them.” Journey through Springsteen's sonic evolution, from the raw, lo-fi LA Garage Sessions '83 that bridges Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A., to the innovative drum loops and synthesizers of Streets of Philadelphia Sessions. This collection spans 35 prolific years of Springsteen's songwriting and home recording experiments.

WHITE STRIPES - Get Behind Me Satan 20th Anniversary Reissue LP  (Third Man Records)
Recorded on the stairway of Jack White's home in the Indian Village neighborhood of Detroit, this album features marimba, tympani, mandolin and bells, as well as the usual guitar and drums and piano. Described by someone as an oddball masterpiece, it was not commercially released on vinyl until ten years after it's initial release. Now in celebration of it's 20th Anniversary, Get Behind Me Satan will be released on 2LP, one red and one clear disc, both including black wisps.

LIJADU SISTERS - Danger CD/LP (NUMERO)
The Nigerian princesses of afro-funk arrived on the international scene with 1976's Danger and never looked back. Produced by multi-instrumentalist Adeniyi Biddy Wright, the six-song LP is a low-slung affair, awash in dreamy psychedelic guitar, crisp hi-hat shuffles, and telepathic harmony vocals from twins Taiwo and Kehinde. This 2025 remaster is housed in a deluxe tip-on jacket and includes lyrics in both Yorurban and English. Danger, danger, danger please come on back.

PLAYBOI CARTI - Die Lit LP (Interscope Records)   Playboi Carti's second studio album, Die Lit, was released on May 11, 2018. The album consists of 19 tracks with collaborations like Lil Uzi Vert on ‘Shoota,’  ‘Poke It Out’ with Nicki Minaj, ‘Love Hurts’ with Travis Scott and many more. The album has nearly 9.4 billion global streams to date and spent a total of 111 weeks on the Billboard 200. 2 LP set, standard black vinyl.

PLAYBOI CARTI - MUSIC LP (Interscope Records)
Double vinyl LP pressing. MUSIC is Playboi Carti's fourth studio album. The album features 30 tracks with appearances by Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, The Weeknd, Skepta, Young Thug and Ty Dolla $ign.

JIM O'ROURKE - Shutting Down Here LP (Shelter Press)
Shutting Down Here is a special work. Symbolically, it covers a period of thirty years, between two visits by Jim O'Rourke to the GRM, the first, as a young man fascinated by the institution and his repertoire, the second, as an accomplished musician, influential and imbued with an aura of mystery. Shutting Down Here is a piece shaped like an universe, a heterogeneous world in which collides the multiple musical facets of Jim O'Rourke: instrumental writing, field recordings, electronic textures and cybernetic becomings, dynamic spaces, harmonic spaces, silent spans. This variety of approach, strangely, does not in any way weaken the coherence of the whole and this is the talent of Jim O'Rourke, a talent, properly speaking, of composition, where all the sound elements compete and participate to stakes that exceed them and of a common destiny, that is to say of an apparition.

THEE SINSEERS - If We Try / Give It Up You Fool 7” (Colemine)
Here's a true double-A 45. The A-side, ‘If We Try,’ a new cut from Thee Sinseers finds them in a more uptempo pace, and thriving! With Joey Quinones and Adriana Flores trading leads on this one, this tune is sure to get the dance floors packed! The B-side, ‘Give It Up You Fool,’ features the unmistakable voice of Brian Ponce on lead and finds Thee Sinseers right in their slow and sweet pocket. It's an album cut that simply had to be put on a 45.

TY SEGALL - Mr Face LP [Reissue/2015] (Famous Class )
Back in 2015, Ty Segall released Mr. Face EP, the fantastic gatefold 2x7" was not only packed with four killer jams but was also quite possibly the world's first playable pair of 3D glasses. Now Famous Class Records is thrilled to release a 10th anniversary 12” vinyl edition. All copies are pressed on split color translucent red and blue-colored vinyl and come with special Mr. Face 3-D glasses to activate the supercharged 3D artwork.

DR. DOG - Easy Beat LP [Reissue/2005] (We Buy Gold Records)
Easy Beat is the second album from Dr. Dog originally release 20 years ago this year. The band self released the album in 2005, burning CDs themselves as a means of manufacturing and hand making CD artwork as they filled orders. Early mail order purchases of Easy Beat where shipped wrapped in discarded pizza boxes that were adorned with drawings and stickers. Dr. Dog spent all of their money at the time ($1000) to make the album which was later re-released by Park The Van / Devil In The Woods.

KAYTRANADA - Timeless LP  (RCA)
When Kaytranada left the 2021 Grammys with two awards (Best Dance/Electronic Album for 2019's BUBBA and Best Dance Recording for 10%), he made history as the first Black and first openly gay artist to win the former category. The industry recognition was long overdue for the producer, who had been building a devout following for nearly a decade. “In my mind I was finally a true artist," he tells Apple Music's Zane Lowe. After relocating to Los Angeles, he channeled that confidence into making his third solo album, Timeless: It felt more serious-more legit. “I was still having fun making Timeless, but making BUBBA was another type of fun where I didn't really take it seriously.” Like it's predecessor, TIMELESS is a collection of club grooves for catching a vibe. It's packed with guests who effortlessly acclimate to Kaytranada's singular sound while imprinting their own touch. Ravyn Lenae offers breathy seductions on the hard-edged R&B of Video, and Thundercat delivers comical disses in soothing falsetto on the jazzy hip-hop of Wasted Words. Back-to-back tracks ‘Do 2 Me’ (featuring Anderson.Paak and SiR) and ‘Witchy’ (featuring Childish Gambino) hit an energy peak, their tales of late-night infatuation framed by sultry, body-enveloping production.

KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD - Music To Kill Bad People To Vol. 1 LP (Org Music)
Music To Kill Bad People To is a compilation of demos and rare recordings by Australian acid rock band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, recorded between 2011 and 2020. Part of the official Bootlegger series, this LP has exclusive cover art by visual artist Griffin Scanlan, mastered by Joseph Carra.

CHAT PILE - This Dungeon Earth / Remove Your Skin Please LP (Flenser)
In the spring of 2019, a new rock band made up of four otherwise ordinary Okies emerged seemingly out of nowhere, swiftly turning heads with a grotesque new take on noise rock-one fueled by the existential anguish that has defined the 21st century. Taking it's name from the towering mounds of toxic waste that stand as monuments to capitalism's cruel hubris across it's home state, Oklahoma City's Chat Pile made an immediate impression. That momentum culminated in the release of it's landmark 2022 debut album, God's Country, and it's expansive 2024 follow-up, Cool World. While the massive success of God's Country propelled the quartet from underground favorites to international sensation, Chat Pile's mission to push rock music to new zeniths of intensity was part of the plan from the very beginning. In fact, during the first few months of it's existence, the band began writing and recording some of the heaviest, most hellish, and harrowing material in it's entire catalog-laying the foundation for the themes and sonic traits that would later define their debut LP. The result of these early sessions was a pair of EPs: This Dungeon Earth and Remove Your Skin Please, released in the summer and winter of 2019, respectively. Originally issued by Reptilian Records in 2020, The Flenser is proud to present a special reissue of Chat Pile's pivotal first two EPs, now compiled onto a single disc. This dual-EP compilation captures the earliest moments of the Oklahoma City quartet's discography-a snapshot of the band's pre-Flenser days and the eight tracks of noxious, nihilistic noise rock that helped propel them from local oddity to globe-spanning underground heavyweights.

COIL - Black Antlers CD/LP (Dais)
Black Antlers' showcases late-period Coil at their purest: stripped down, tighter, and leaner. The music became more rhythmic, with a greater emphasis on beats: the songs we did tend to be more... not rock in any sense of a word, but you know, more conventional in terms of structure, but now what we're doing is sort of within an 'electronic' genre. The sound of Black Antlers is of an intoxicating energy, combining Thighpaulsandra's advanced synthesis, Balance's poetic lyricism and Christopherson's flirtations with jazz and Ableton-aided PowerBook maximalism. Rounding out the trio were renowned hurdy-gurdy player Cliff Stapleton on a specifically commissioned electric variant, to merge into the band's strange and other-worldly music; Royal Academy of Music trained percussionist Tom Edwards (who also appeared with Thighpaulsandra in Spiritualized's live band); and European and Near East winds specialist Mike York on pipes, bombarde, duduk and balalaika.

LATE NIGHT DRIVE HOME - As I Watch My Life Online LP (Epitaph)
A criticism of their adolescence always existing in the shadow of the internet, the 13-track offering codes together vignettes of mistaking online connection for something real. With their success outgrowing the bedrooms they used to create in, late night drive home’s debut album is the first time they’ve worked in proper studios.

DJ KÖZE - DJ Koze - DJ-Kicks  (!K7)
DJ Koze – with his friendly and sometimes slightly melancholic take on the world – is one of the greatest auteurs of club music today, and one of the few internationally active DJs who dares to make music that has relevance beyond the dance floor. In celebration of !K7's 40th anniversary year, Koze’s seminal DJ-Kicks is re-issued on a beautiful orange 2LP with a brand new DJ Koze DJ-Kicks playing card.

METERS - Fire On The Bayou LP [Reissue/1975] (Rhino)
Fire on the Bayou is a staple of New Orleans funk. Originally released in 1975, the album was released the same year that The Rolling Stones had invited The Meters to open for them on their Tour of the Americas. With the album's hit eponymous track along with other classics like ‘Mardi Gras Mambo’ and ‘They All Ask'd for You,’ Fire on the Bayou is a fantastic blend of the blues, dance and funk grooves that continues to define the New Orleans music scene and is one of the many examples of why The Meters are considered New Orleans royalty. To celebrate Black Music Month and honor the album's 50th anniversary, this album has been cut from the original tapes by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and is pressed locally on 180 gram premium-quality vinyl at Fidelity Record Pressing's brand new plant in Oxnard, California as part of the new Rhino Reserve line.

LEE MORGAN - Here's Lee Morgan (Original Jazz Classics Series) LP [Reissue/1960]  (Craft Recordings)   Originally released in 1960 on the Vee-Jay label, Here's Lee Morgan is Lee Morgan's 10th album. A collection of 6 hard-bop cuts, Morgan is backed on the album by Clifford Jordan (tenor sax), Wynton Kelly (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), and Art Blakey (drums). This new edition of the album is released as part of the Original Jazz Classics Series on 180-gram vinyl pressed at RTI with all-analog mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio and a Stoughton Tip-On Jacket.

MUNA - Live At The Greek Theatre In Los Angeles LP (Saddest Factory)
When Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson were just three music students at USC, they formed MUNA and set a goal of eventually playing The Greek Theatre. Ten years later in the fall of 2023, they did just that; in fact they not only crossed it off their bucket list, they did it twice and to sold out crowds. The magic of those shows was captured on Live At The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, released digitally last year and now pressed to vinyl for the first time. With over twenty tracks assembled, Live At The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles spans the band's entire catalog, and features virtually all of MUNA's most beloved songs, including ‘Silk Chiffon’ (featuring Phoebe Bridgers on her verse as well as Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus on backup vocals), ‘What I Want,’ ‘Kind of Girl,’ 'One That Got Away,’ ‘I Know a Place,’ ‘Anything But Me,’ ‘Number One Fan,’ ‘Stayaway' and many more.

OTIS REDDING - Otis Blue / Otis Redding Sings Soul LP [Reissue/1965] (Atlantic)
Recorded almost entirely in a single day, Otis Blue/Otis Redding Sings Soul delivers some of the strongest soul renditions ever put to tape. This includes the Redding original ‘I've Been Loving You Too Long,’ a cover of the Rolling Stones' ‘Satisfaction,’ and an early recording of ‘Respect,’ which was later made popular by Aretha Franklin. Considered by critics to be the definitive soul album of it's period, Otis Blue has been ranked one of Rolling Stone Magazine's 'Greatest Albums of All Time' as well as Time Magazine's 'All-Time 100 Greatest Albums'. JUAN WAUTERS - MVD LUV LP (Captured Tracks)
Juan Wauters' MVD LUV is more than just an album-it's a homecoming. For the first time in his career, Wauters has recorded a full-length project in his birthplace of Montevideo, Uruguay, embracing the city's rich musical traditions while continuing to push the boundaries of his distinctive songwriting. A love letter to both his roots and his present, MVD LUV brings Uruguayan sounds to the global stage, incorporating candombe and murga rhythms into Wauters' signature fusion of folk, pop, and experimentation.

M83 - Necessary Escape - Dakar Chronicles - O.S.T. LP (M83)
A Necessary Escape is the new M83 Soundtrack to the forthcoming film Dakar: Race Against The Desert. This will be the 4th album soundtrack released by M83 and was recorded in both France and the US by M83's leading man, Anthony Gonzalez, along with regular M83 contributors, Joe Berry & Clement Libes.

LAURA STEVENSON - Late Great LP (Really Records)
In the four years since her self-titled album was released, indie-folk icon Laura Stevenson's entire life has been upended. Late Great, set to be released by Jeff Rosenstock's Really Records on June 27, 2025, is about letting go, taking charge, and learning to rebuild from the deepest layers of your being: “It's a document of loss for sure,” Stevenson says, “but also of this scary and exciting precipice that I am standing on. I am making my own life now. With the record, my job, with everything, this is the first time I get to call all the shots.”
