INDIGO DE SOUZA - Precipice CD/LP (Loma Vista)
There are moments standing on a high ledge where wild space beckons. In that moment, instinct stirs: What if I just jumped? It's been described as the call of the void, an experience somehow more primal than even feeling or urge. On new album Precipice, Indigo de Souza looks over the creative and spiritual cliff and leaps, taking control of difficult memories and charged emotions via pop bombast and diaristic clarity, and finding a stronger self through the journey.

Mic City Sons - 30th Anniversary drops on July 25th via Third Man.
BEN NICHOLS - In The Heart of the Mountain LP (Liberty & Lament)
Ben Nichols is best known as the frontman and songwriter for the long-running Memphis rock band Lucero. The album features Nichols on acoustic guitar and vocals, as well as the occasional electric guitar solo and percussion. He is accompanied by Morgan Eve Swain (The Huntress and the Holder of Hands, The Devil Makes Three, Brown Bird) on violin and backing vocals, Cory Branan on electric and acoustic guitars, and Todd Beene (Chuck Ragan, Glossary) on pedal steel and electric guitars.
ELECTRIC YOUTH - Innerworld (10th Anniversary Edition) LP (Electric Youth Music)
Electric Youth is a Toronto-based duo comprised of Austin Garrick and Bronwyn Griffin, who first gained widespread attention with the soundtrack to the 2011 film Drive, starring Ryan Gosling. Their now iconic theme song ‘A Real Hero’ scored pivotal scenes and found chart topping and critical acclaim. Out of print on vinyl for several years now, their debut album Innerworld featured the popular single 'A Real Hero,’ and here is a fresh pressing on the 10 year anniversary of it's release. New tracks feature remixes by legendary French electronic artists Lifelike and Fred Falke plus bonus tracks.
EDITRIX - Big E LP (Joyful Noise Records)
Editrix is a Massachusetts-rooted trio known for their wild, gnarly take on experimental rock. Blending jagged guitar riffs, unpredictable rhythms, and bursts of cartoonish eccentricity, the band creates a sound that's both chaotic and compelling. Composed of singer and guitarist Wendy Eisenberg, drummer Josh Daniel, and bassist Steve Cameron, Editrix thrives on musical risk-taking, often veering into noise-rock territory with a playful edge. On their latest release, The Big E, Editrix unleashes their fangs, resulting in a demonic wall of scuzz.
JOHN LEE HOOKER - Boom Boom LP (BMG)
Following his late-career resurgence with 1989's The Healer, John Lee Hooker stepped into Russian Hill Recording in San Francisco and the Record Plant in Sausalito to reimagine some of his most iconic songs, including Boom Boom, which lends this album it's title. A star-studded lineup of contemporary blues greats joined the sessions, including Charlie Musselwhite, Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Cray, and Albert Collins.
DIRTY NIL - Lash CD/LP (Dine Alone Records)
On their fifth album, The Lash, The Dirty Nil strips back their signature flash and colour for something raw and relentless. Inspired by brutal Italian bronze reliefs and medieval aesthetics, the Hamilton, Ontario band embraced a stark black-and-white visual style, ditching their previous vibrant palettes for spikes, skulls, and knives. Recording with local engineer Vince Solivari, the band captured a more urgent and unfiltered sound in just two weeks at Boxcar Sound.
THE WILDMANS - Longtime Friend LP (New West)

ALICE COOPER - The Revenge Of Alice Cooper CD/LP (Earmusic)
It's been 50 years. Now Alice Cooper and the original band reunite to bring rock 'n' roll back from the shadows! The Revenge of Alice Cooper is a high-voltage journey into vintage horror and classic '70s shock rock. Together, they've created an album packed with the sound, energy, and mischief that made them legendary. This album throws you straight into the golden era of Killer, Billion Dollar Babies, School's Out, and Love It to Death - packed with electrifying riffs, raw energy, and Alice's signature storytelling. From the venomous bite of 'Black Mamba' to the rebellious charge of 'Wild Ones,’ and the soft, haunting melodies of ‘See You on the Other Side,’ every track feels like a lost rock 'n' roll classic.
GWAR - Return Of Gor Gor LP (Pit Records)
Gor Gor Returns! The infamous crack-addled T-Rex has returned to wreak havoc. Only the Scumdogs can save us now. This release features 3 brand new GWAR songs, a new 32 page comic detailing these adventures, and 4 live songs from their most recent tour.
NIGHT MOVES - Double Life LP (Domino)
Double Life, the fourth Night Moves album and first in six years, is a cozy and cool LP built largely from a string of very rough breaks that singer John Pelant and Night Moves have navigated in recent years. Pelant is the sort of songwriter who starts with the music—inspired of late by Glen Campbell and Bobby Caldwell, Cleaners from Venus and early ’90s country, Panda Bear and (as ever) Gram Parsons—and then writes lyrics only after he’s sat with the tune a spell. But this time, these songs are direct documents of Pelant’s life as he searches for silver linings or at least valuable meanings during a moment when very little seemed golden. Double Life is about moving through, not moving on.

CAL TJADER - Amazonas (Jazz Dispensary Top Shelf Series) LP reissue (Craft)

This Jazz Dispensary Top Shelf Series was cut from the original analog tapes (AAA) by Kevin Gray, pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI, and comes packaged in a tip-on jacket.
ALISON KRAUSS - Now That I've Found You: A Collection LP [Reissue/1995] (Craft)
The first vinyl reissue of Now That I've Found You: A Collection features enduring highlights of Krauss' solo work, Union Station tracks and covers. Originally released in 1995, this double-platinum-certified album includes the gold-certified single, 'When You Say Nothing at All,' along with the GRAMMY-winning ‘Baby, Now That I've Found You’ and other timeless classics. Upon it's first release, Rolling Stone said of the album, A crystalline soprano, [Krauss] sings with riveting emotion.
CORY HANSON - I Love People LP/CASS (Drag City)
With a room fulla fine pickers and a set of Hollywood orchestral cues to kill for, Cory Hanson proclaims I Love People! His 4th solo album drills down (baby) on a dryly parallax worldview, with songs about all those people he loves and all the crazy things they get up to. As ringmaster for a circus show of classic folk and rock tropes, Cory tugs at our heartstrings with expert misdirection, embracing tradition by throwing it out, into the wind.
THE BODY - All the Waters of the Earth Turn to Blood LP [Reissue/2010] (Thrill Jockey)
Originally released in 2010, The Body’s All the Waters of the Earth Turn to Blood is a watershed album that changed the landscape of heavy music. Buoyed by the eclectic cast of musicians, from the undeniably potent collaboration with The Assembly of Light Choir as led by now longtime The Body collaborator Chrissy Wolpert, to guest contributors that include members of Dead Times, Fang Island, Lichens (aka Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe), Human Beast, and many more. The album’s singularly bleak, yet beautiful atmosphere not only set the tone for The Body’s career in breaking the mold, but set a new standard for what extreme music could do.
MARK PRITCHARD - Under The Sun LP [Reissue/2016] (Warp)
Reissue of Mark Pritchard’s 2016 record, featuring collaborations from Thom Yorke, Bibio and more.
