Stinkweeds 35th

Amazing right?? Kimber Lanning opened Stinkweeds in the valley way back in 1987, and we are so excited to celebrate our store's birthday alongside Record Store Day 2022 with some Stinkweeds-exclusive merch.

 

We've made some really special commemorative items for those of you who've been with us all along on this wild ride. Remember the Mesa stores? Tempe store? All the incredible Stinkweeds shows? Make sure to pick up a copy of our brand new Stinkweeds 35th Anniversary Zine, in collaboration with Fluke Fanzine. This 28 page booklet features instore flyers and photos, newspaper ads, old staff photos, and a deep dive interview with Kimber herself!

 

The zine comes with a limited cassette release of audio recordings from past instores including Elliott Smith, Low, Sleater Kinney, Love As Laughter, Blonde Redhead, Luluc, Fidlar, Sharon Van Etten, Mattson 2 and more!
