BOY HARSHER - Get Mean CD/LP/CASS (Atlantic)
Boy Harsher returns with Get Mean, a dark and cinematic collection that expands the duo's signature blend of synth-pop, industrial textures, and pulsing darkwave. Atmospheric and hypnotic, the album balances brooding electronic production with infectious melodies, showcasing the band's evolving sound while retaining the intensity that has made them a standout force in modern electronic music.

SLOW PULP - Melodie CD/LP (ANTI-)
With only two albums out, Slow Pulp are one of the defining bands of the generation that grew up on '90s alt rock radio and came of age with the 2000s indie wave. Their new album, Melodie, out on September 18 was produced by Elliott Kozel (whose credits include SZA, Lizzo, Jean Dawson, and Rosalia) and was co-written by Emily Massey and Henry Stoehr in the band. Melodie sees the band exploring beyond their shoegaze roots into new sonic territory with pop-tinged hooks and melodies. Melodie is the follow-up to their acclaimed sophomore album Yard.

BECK - Ride Lonesome CD/LP (Capitol)
Beck returns with Ride Lonesome, his first album of all-new material since 2019’s Hyperspace. Harkening back to the rich, atmospheric sounds of Morning Phase and Sea Change, the album reunites Beck with musicians from those acclaimed releases. Produced by Beck and mixed by Nigel Godrich, Ride Lonesome marks a compelling return to the intimate, cinematic style that defines some of his most celebrated work.

THEE SINSEERS - Love Stories CD/LP/CASS (Colemine Records)
Catching up with Thee Sinseers ahead of their new Colemine Records release, Love Stories, one thing becomes abundantly clear: this is not an LP that explores a neat and tidy love story. The vision of love put forth on this record is full-spectrum. Think of the seminal 1993 East LA film Blood In Blood Out - three protagonists bound together through hardship, strife, and diverging roads, who ultimately circle back to reckon with why they remain. It's a similar story here. Love Stories isn't interested in the happy ending. It's interested in everything that comes before it, after it, and in spite of it. Of course, none of this is accidental. More than a new record, Love Stories is a portrait of a band that has finally grown into itself - one that knows exactly who it is and isn't shy about saying so.

CHELSEA WOLFE - Dark CD/LP (Loma Vista)
Chelsea Wolfe enters a new era with her forthcoming album The Dark, shaped by sobriety, transformation, and confronting inner shadows. Written after deep self-examination, it moves through darkness rather than away from it, sharpening her blend of mysticism, memory, grief and desire into something heavier, more immediate. Produced with Jennifer Decilveo (Lola Young, Royal & The Serpent, Miley Cyrus) and featuring collaborators from Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam, and St. Vincent. Sharper and heavier than ever, The Dark is where beauty meets ruin.

BEABADOOBEE - Pylon CD/LP (Beabadoobee)
Beabadoobee returns with her 4th studio album Pylon. Written on the road whilst supporting the acclaimed and chart topping This Is How Tomorrow Moves and crafted with collaborators including Hayley Williams, Turnstile's Brendan Yates, Chino Moreno of Deftones and Pinegrove's Evan Stephens Hall, Pylon touches on classic grunge, midwest emo and '90s radio rock, zeroing in on a sound that is both more intense and more direct than any of her previous records.

ARAB STRAP - Half-Told Tales CD/LP (Rock Action)
Scotland's acclaimed and influential Arab Strap are back with their ninth studio album Half-Told Tales, due for release via fellow Scottish rockers Mogwai's Rock Action Records on 4th September 2026: almost exactly 30 years since the beloved duo's first ever single “The First Big Weekend” was released. Recorded with Paul Savage (Mogwai, Belle and Sebastian, Franz Ferdinand) at Chem19, Half-Told Tales is rich with Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton's trademark wit and dark humour, whilst creating moments from quiet brooding to their self-described metal incantation that might make you dance.

ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN - Apples For Isaac CD/LP (BMG)
Apples For Isaac finds Echo & the Bunnymen continuing their legacy of atmospheric alternative rock with richly textured arrangements, evocative lyrics, and the unmistakable voice of Ian McCulloch. Blending classic songwriting with modern production, the album delivers a compelling new chapter from one of Britain's most influential bands.

BONNIE PRINCE BILLY - Ghosts Of American Psychonauts CD/LP  (No Quarter)
Recorded in Los Angeles over Valentines Day weekend 2025, in the wake of the horrific fires -
Ghost of American Psychonautsshowcases songs from the (at the time) just released album The Purple Bird along with various nuggets from the Bonnie Prince Billy songbook, performed by a stellar band comprised of Emmett Kelly (bass), Ryder McNair (piano), Dv DeVincentis (sax), London May (drums), Thomas Deakin (guitar, clarinet), Patrick Shiroishi (sax) and Jacob Duncan (sax). Dave Ferguson (who produced The Purple Bird) sings on Downstream.

ADAM RUDOLPH - Invisible Threads LP  (Omni Sound)
Over the course of more than half a century, the visionary percussionist and composer Adam Rudolph has been a pioneer in weaving together inspirations and collaborators across cultures, traditions, backgrounds, and styles. Long-standing collaborations with the three major figures of spiritual jazz, Don Cherry, Yusef Lateef, and Pharoah Sanders, helped shape Rudolph's expansive musical philosophy, one rooted in improvisation, deep listening, and cultural exchange. As ever in Rudolph's non-idiomatic vision, Invisible Threads is no mere fusion of musical traditions; instead, it is a journey of discovery shared and shaped by the merging of profoundly individual voices.

SHE WANTS REVENGE - She Wants Revenge LP [Reissue/2006]  (Geffen Records)
First official repress since it's OG release on January 31, 2006! The eponymous debut album from She Wants Revenge features their Platinum single, ‘Tear You Apart’ + ‘These Things’ and more!

ANGUS & JULIA STONE - Karaoke Bar CD/LP (Angus & Julia Stone)
Angus & Julia Stone's seventh studio album, Karaoke Bar, is another evolution in the pair's history of songwriting, recording, and producing. A vibrant collection of songs born out of adventures across the world, carrying with them the spirit of the places, people and moments that inspired their creation. With Karaoke Bar, they open the doors to yet another chapter: a record that leans into joy.Across the record, Angus and Julia share vocals - singing line for line, together in unison or in harmony throughout - set within musical production that brings the songs to life, making choices that elevate the story of each song in that way Angus and Julia do so well. Lyrically and musically, they bring to life a feeling we all know but can't quite reach without music - something between nostalgia, melancholy, and presence. A portal into a sense of life being lived.

ANTIOCH ARROW - Your Hearts Belong To Us LP (Numero)
Savage first-wave screamo from San Diego's white belt progenitors. Collected for the first time on this 39-minute LP are Antioch Arrow's complete Gravity recordings, including In Love With Jetts LP (+ a pair of previously unissued outtakes), The Lady Is A Cat 12', Candle split, and two live Che Cafe tracks captured at the quintet's spazzy peak. 23 tracks remastered from corroded DATs and annotated by Tony Rettman, plus lyrics, photos, and flyers, all housed in a stunning gatefold jacket for maximum McClard rage-baiting.

CHARLEY CROCKETT - Clovis CD/LP  (Atlantic)
Clovis marks Charley Crockett's fourth full-length LP of original music within just a 16-month span and remarkably his 17th studio album since his 2015 debut, A Stolen Jewel. Co-produced by Charley and his creative kindred spirit, producer Shooter Jennings, the bulk of the album was written and recorded with Charley's band The Blue Drifters in Clovis, New Mexico, at the iconic Norman Petty studios, a national landmark where legendary artists like Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Waylon Jennings, and more had recorded some of their biggest hits in the 1950’s.

ORVILLE PECK - Mule CD/LP (Warner Records)
Mule, Orville Peck's fourth studio album, arrives as his most intimate and ambitious work to date. Following last year's Appaloosa EP, the record unfolds as a chronological account of the year that reshaped his life, tracing the collapse of addiction, the difficult pursuit of sobriety, and the slow, often uncertain process of rebuilding. Told with unflinching honesty, humor, and compassion, Mule finds Peck confronting love, loss, and identity through songs that move fluidly between classic country storytelling, bluegrass, and expansive Americana.

BIITA HOUDEI - This Bed Was Made For Me LP (Father/Daughter)
This Bed Was Made For Me is a striking collection of Biita Houdei's (pronounced 'bee-tah who-day') stirring, signature folk songs, brought into fruition with the help of fellow songwriter Haley Heynderickx, in her first lead production role, and the album's producer/engineer Sahil Ansari. It's first release Biita is releasing under her newly-taken name, one that was gifted to her by her auntie and means unique in the Farsi language. Recorded across ten back-to-back and full days, which began with fermented tea and ended with a shared meal together, the album touches on themes of love and heritage, of taking chances, the preciousness of time and the impact we all have on the world around us.

DANZIG - Deth Red Sabaoth LP [Reissue/2010] (Cleopatra)
Originally released in 2010, Deth Red Sabaoth marked Danzig's return to the studio with a powerful collection of dark, blues-infused heavy metal. Produced by Glenn Danzig, the album features crushing riffs, haunting melodies, and the unmistakable vocal style that has defined his legendary career.

DAVID BOWIE - Shel Talmy Recordings CD/LP (Rhino)
The Shel Talmy Recordings is a new compilation bringing together the most complete collection of tracks recorded in 1965 by a young David Bowie (then Davie Jones) and legendary 60s producer Shel Talmy. Including previously unheard compositions and alternative takes as well as tracks such as 'You've Got A Habit Of Leaving' and 'Baby Loves that Way', originally released as singles on Parlophone, that Bowie would return to later in his career, re-recording them with his Glastonbury band for the album Toy, which would finally be released in 2021.

KEN CARSON - Xperiment  (Interscope Records)
Ken Carson pushes his futuristic rap sound even further on XPERIMENT, blending explosive production, hypnotic melodies, and boundary-pushing creativity into one of his most ambitious releases yet.

EMMA RUTH RUNDLE - These Killing Times CD/LP (Errant Child)
Emma Ruth Rundle's These Killing Times is electrifying, emotional and charged with anti-patriarchal feminist rage. The sixth studio album from the multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and multi-disciplinary artist is a reactive anthology, bristling, full of life and full of resistance; it asks us questions of our intentions and of the roles we play in the communities we exist within, and how we choose to counter the chokehold of capitalism. Sleepless nights, moments of horror, and times of anguish could be overlaid atop a timeline of recent socio-political events to map the creation of These Killing Times; the rising power of Christian nationalism, the grotesque circus of political discourse, and related ontological discomfort. But there is also love - as a balm and a tonic, a means of escape. A desire for companionship and connection whilst being confronted by the most violent parts of humanity remains an unresolved tension. Written as she watched from afar the devastating effects of yet another climate disaster unfold in early 2025, Emma reflected on the roots of the systemic issues that filter directly into so many catastrophic global events, and made a conscious choice to reach towards making a hopeful record. Where outside forces tempted her to turn inwards, towards isolation and hopelessness, she instead reached outwards to create a record that acknowledges pain, but offers both community and resilience in response.

CHAMACO RAMIREZ - Alive And Kicking LP (Craft Recordings)
A vibrant collection from salsa legend Chamaco Ramirez, Alive and Kicking celebrates his enduring legacy with classic performances that showcase his unmistakable voice and timeless style.

SON LUX - Out Into LP (This Is Meru)
Son Lux returns with Out Into, their first studio album since being nominated for two Oscars and a BAFTA for their work on A24's Everything Everywhere All at Once and scoring Marvel's Thunderbolts. Propulsive, urgent, raw, and vulnerable, the album strives to question assumptions about how music is made and construct their own from a molecular level, cultivating a musical language rooted in curiosity and balancing opposites. Over two decades, the band has released numerous recordings marked by raw emotional intimacy and meticulous electronic constructions. They have performed at major venues and festivals globally, and will embark on a world tour supporting the new album.

DEAD TONGUES - Montana LP (Psychic Hotline)
Across the last 15 years, Ryan Gustafson of The Dead Tongues has emerged as one of modern folk's most distinct voices. As idiosyncratic and spectral as the songs have sometimes been, Gustafson has always tied his visions and verses to the kinds of hooks you tuck away like talismans, pulled out in case of emergency. On Montana, Ryan Gustafson expanded the sound of The Dead Tongues. Weaving influences from Appalachian old time and primitive three finger style guitar into his previously established, simple yet off centered approach to songwriting - Gustafson crafts a richly textured, distinctly American patchwork that moves between pastoral warmth and strange intensity. Featuring the fan favorite track ‘Wildflower Perfume,’ this beloved album is available on vinyl for the first time.

DIZZY SUNFIST - Our Dream Is Not Dead LP (Fat Wreck Chords)
Osaka's Dizzy Sunfist is a female-fronted melodic punk band heavily influenced by Japanese and international melodic punk and hardcore. Formed in 2009, they are the vanguard of the Japanese melodic punk scene, a status earned through powerful live performances and a steady release of excellent albums. One day, out of nowhere, an email arrived through the Dizzy Sunfist website. “Mike is interested in your band. We could never have imagined that Fat Wreck Chords would contact a Japanese band like us. We could never have imagined that our music would reach Mike. We're truly grateful to FAT for making us feel that falling in love with punk rock and continuing this band was absolutely worth it.” In celebration of the band's signing to Fat Wreck Chords and the 10th anniversary of the second album The Dream is Not Dead, we present to you- The Dream Is Not Dead Fat Wreck Edition. In this new edition the band has re-recorded the iconic album with English language lyrics.

TEAM DRESCH - Furthermore LP (Jealous Butcher)
TEAM DRESCH ARE BACK with a NEW FUCKING RECORD, 30 years after their last full-length release. Sure, yeah, that's a long time between releases. BUT, aren't you dying to hear what 30 years of living, laughing, loving, and losing collagen sounds like? This album SOUNDS LIKE lungs full of grief expelling, eyes and guts wide open, yearning to be one with animals and nature, metal-flange-goth-grunge-punk-ass-rock-and-roll, loaded with inimitable vocal melodies and harmonies, Donna Dresch's soaring guitaring that grabs you by the heart, so many other rad guitar parts all orchestrally intertwining, ass-thumping bass, and drumming mastery that deserves it's own Grammys.

JEREMIAH CHIU - In Electric Time LP  (International Anthem)
On June 29th, 2023, Jeremiah Chiu walked into the Vintage Synthesizer Museum (VSM) in Highland Park, Los Angeles, with no plan more specific than let's fire this stuff up and see what happens. Exploring the VSM's vast collection of classic, rare and staple synthesizers, he would sequence, trigger, and layer the machines together with help from VSM founder/curator Lance Hill. Hill recalls: “Jeremiah arrived before the engineer showed up. We talked for maybe 5 minutes before he started programming a sound and sequence into the Gleeman Pentaphonic. By the time the engineer showed up, Jeremiah had built several other parts around the Gleeman that weren't synced by any control method but sounded like they were just calling and responding to each other. They plugged the Tascam 388 into the patch bay, and hit record. Jeremiah played with it, and that was it. First piece written and recorded in under an hour. It felt natural, fun and free. And that's pretty much how the rest of the session went.” The resulting album was recorded in just two days, and edited to completion in the two days following. It was captured fully analog by engineer Ben Lumsdaine, who contributes performances on a few tracks. Cooper Crain (Bitchin Bajas) makes an appearance as well; but ultimately the collection is an intuitive expression of organic electronic music conceptualized and created in-context by Chiu alone, as he calls on a lifetime of work in sound synthesis to paint a fulgent, refreshingly undercut sequence of cinematic sketches and in-process themes.

CHUCK BERRY - After School Session LP [Reissue/1957] (Chess)
Originally released in 1957, After School Session is Chuck Berry's groundbreaking debut album and a cornerstone of rock and roll history. Featuring classics such as ‘School Day,’ ‘Too Much Monkey Business,’ and 'Brown Eyed Handsome Man,’ the album captures Berry's revolutionary blend of rhythm and blues, country influences, and innovative guitar work that helped shape popular music for generations.

CHUCK D & JOHN DENSMORE - Dope - No Country For Old Men CD/LP (Org Music)
Former RSD Ambassador and hip-hop legend Chuck D (Public Enemy) joins forces with The Doors' iconic drummer John Densmore for
do+pe = no country for old men. Recorded specifically for Record Store Day 2026, the album blends spoken word, rhythm, and raw social commentary, bridging generations of rebellion and reflection. It includes the RSD Song of the Year every tick tick tick. Previously a RSD exclusive, it will now be widely available in multiple formats, including black vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital. The packaging features original illustrations from Chuck D himself.

KRISTIN HERSH - Sugar On Blackstone (Fire Records)
A darker yet delicately rendered work from Kristin Hersh, Sugar On Blackstone explores life and death, enrichment and poverty, and the small but defining moments of childhood that continue to echo through adult life. Deeply personal and emotionally expansive, the album reflects on the lasting bonds between musicians, family and friends, and the way certain sounds, places and memories can suddenly bring someone vividly back into focus. Recorded at Stable Sound Studios earlier this year, Hersh is joined by longtime collaborators Rob Ahlers (50 Foot Wave) on drums and cellist Pete Harvey (Throwing Muses). The result is a stark yet warm collection of songs that balances fragility with force, intimacy with tension.

UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS - Shapes Of Midnight LP (Killer Candy Records)
Cult psych rock group Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats are on the loose again with their seventh and latest crime against music,
Shapes Of Midnight, released on Killer Candy Records. Through tracking live to tape at the legendary Abbey Road Studios while using the finest 1960s EMI console technology, the band have perfected their Evil Beatles sound with 45 minutes of ragged downer rock. Combining down tuned, fuzzed out guitars with two part vocal harmonies, pop melodies and subversive paperback horror lyrics, the band have carved out their own unique sonic world, which continues to evolve.

COLEMAN HAWKINS - Hawk Relaxes LP [Reissue/1961] (Craft Recordings)

Features previously unreleased recordings, alternate versions and rare archive material from Snapped Ankles, Vanishing Twin, Little Barrie and more.

FRANKIE ROSE - Hila LP (Born Losers Records)
Frankie Rose has spent fifteen years building one of the most quietly distinctive bodies of work in American independent music. Each record has pushed further into it's own atmosphere without abandoning the melodic instincts that anchor all of it. HILA is her sixth. It is also her most interior. Featuring Justin Welch on drums (Lush, Elastica), the record moves with the deliberate, pressurized quiet of a Michael Mann soundtrack, but filtered through something stranger and more ritualistic-Coil's shadow, Cocteau Twins' density, and the sense of language dissolving into frequency.Where Love as Projection opened outward into electronic pop, Hila turns inward. It is Rose's most impressionistic record, and in some ways her most experimental-though the songwriting never loses it's footing. The melodies are still there. They just arrive from further away.

VARIOUS - Soul Jazz Records Presents Studio One Dub Plate Special LP  (Soul Jazz)   First released in a long-out-of-print limited-edition 7 box set, this album, now released on LP, brings together 10 amazing, unreleased Studio One tracks, only ever released as extremely limited-edition hand-etched one-sided dub plates (most of these sold out in less than 2 hours!). // Studio One Dub Plate Special brings together all 8 of these exclusive dub plate unreleased cuts, plus two more also never before released alternate cuts. KATIE PRUITT - Fools For The Fleeting LP  (Rounder)
Katie Pruitt returns with Fools for the Fleeting, a deeply personal meditation on the ebbs and flows of today's cultural climate. Drawing from her own experiences and perspective, Pruitt's raw, unflinching delivery cuts through the noise with a vulnerability that invites listeners into the conversation. On Fools for the Fleeting, Pruitt delivers her most expansive and resonant work yet - an album that embraces impermanence while searching for meaning within it.

HARLAN SILVERMAN - Music For Stillness LP  (Mississippi Records)
In a world filled with noise and chaos, Harlan's music offers a restoration to peace. Music for Stillness unfolds slowly, inviting rest and quiet presence. The bansuri flute leads the sound, it's emotive, vocal-like quality weaving melody atop cello and ambient textures. Influenced by Indian classical music, Japanese environmental music, and Western ambient music, the album leaves space for the listener to choose how deeply to engage. The music offers a single question: What might peace sound like?

KOKO TAYLOR - Koko Taylor LP [Reissue/1969]  (Chess)
Originally released in 1969, Koko Taylor introduced audiences to one of the most commanding voices in electric Chicago blues. Backed by gritty instrumentation and anchored by Taylor's unmistakable vocals, the album includes the signature intensity and soulfulness that earned her the title Queen of the Blues. This Chess Acoustic Sounds Series edition highlights a landmark release from a true blues icon.

White, Red & Blue Layered Colored Vinyl in Single Jacket with Printed Inner Sleeve

WAY DYNAMIC - Massive Shoe LP  (Jagjaguwar)
Way Dynamic, the solo project of Melbourne's Dylan Young, releases internationally for the first time, Massive Shoe - a third album that's playful and understated, luminous and textured. Massive Shoe is minimalist folk-pop, art rock and baroque pop, produced and largely played by Young, who moonlights in Melbourne's beloved Cool Sounds and Good Morning and has played drums with Snowy Band and Kankawa Nagarra. It's tempting to only compare these songs to those of yesteryear- Young's falsetto, his ear for harmonies and the intricate arrangements all feel timeless. But there's a sensibility, a turn of phrase, that feels deeply contemporary: it's telling that Waxahatchee's Katie Crutchfield described 'Miffed’ It as her favourite song in a VERY long time, and Katie, MJ Lenderman, This is Lorelei and Black Country New Road have all taken Way Dynamic on tour, while Sir Elton John said that he just cannot stop listening to Ibiza. Young's songs don't shy away from sentiment, or equally from silliness: on any given song he might suggest a flight to space or earnestly lament a miscommunication. Can we walk and talk as well? he asks on Was the Dancer, and we rush to accept the invitation.
