TRICKY
- Different When It's Silent CD/LP (False Idols)

The legendary artist and producer Tricky today announces his new album, Different When It's Silent, out 17 July 2026 via False Idols. His 15th studio album and first full-length release under his own name in six years, Different When It's Silent is a direct, focused record that reconnects with the distinctive sonic language that has defined Tricky's work since his groundbreaking 1995 debut, Maxinquaye.

YARD ACT
- You're Gonna Need A Little Music CD/LP (Republic Records)

Mercury Prize-nominated Yard Act return with their third studio album offering, You're Gonna Need a Little Music, produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Beck, Wolf Alice) via Republic Records.

GRACIE ABRAMS
- Daughter From Hell CD/LP (Interscope Records)

2026 release. Gracie Abrams' highly anticipated third studio album, Daughter from Hell.

HELADO TROPICAL - Helado Tropical CD/LP (Psychic Hotline)
There are collaborations that feel engineered, and then there are those that feel like summer sun's warmth on a Sunday. Helado Tropical, the debut collaborative album from Helado Negro and Reyna Tropical, belongs to the latter, channeling that easy, sun-drenched tenderness into sound. It didn't begin with a plan so much as a meeting: two artists orbiting similar questions around language, identity, and music, finally landing in the same room. What followed was less a traditional writing process than a shared unfolding - an instinctive, immersive exchange that stretched across geographies, time zones, and states of being.

ORQUESTA AKOKAN
- America CD/LP (Daptone)

Recorded live to tape at Penrose Recorders by Gabriel Roth, AMÉRICA! Expands on the classic Mambo sounds that the band has become known for - blending Latin soul, boogaloo and salsa - all while staying true to their Cuban roots. On their fourth studio record, the band introduces an all-star line-up of new singers including Mariam Elhajli and Carolina Oliveros (of Combo Chimbita). Elhajli and Oliveros both tap into the raw energy of Celia and La Lupe, but turn the lens toward something more intimate: themes of loss, upheaval, and the weight of the immigrant experience.

SWAPMEET
- Mount Zero CD/LP (Winspear)

A sweeping, guitar-driven road trip that recalls and reinvigorates the slowcore and alt rock of the 90s and early aughts, Mount Zero, the debut LP from Swapmeet, marks the moment the Australian four-piece come into their own. Following their dreamy 2024 debut EP Oxalis, Mount Zero arrives on the heels of the band's signing to LA-based label Winspear, after stirring up buzz throughout Australia, taking home awards for Best Release and Best Song (Ceiling Fan) at the South Australian Music Awards and earning the title of 'Best Emerging Artist' at SXSW Sydney. Mingling airy sweetness with jagged surrealism, Mount Zero transmutes so many of the regrets and uncertainties of young adulthood into a burgeoning, newfound confidence.

MENZINGERS
- Everything I Ever Saw CD/LP (Epitaph)

Everything I Ever Saw finds the Menzingers entering a new era in what's already been a storied career. The Philadelphia punk legends' eighth album chronicles moments of significant change-the personal, the political, and the universal-while returning to the core creative principles that first put them on the map with listeners the world over. Twenty years in, the Menzingers have discovered that the wisdom gained with time's passing is even stronger than the emotional armor they once wore in their youth, and Everything I Ever Saw captures the quartet embracing the here and now while strengthening the bonds that have held them together.

7 SECONDS
- Take It Back Take It On Take It Over LP [Reissue/2005] (Side One Dummy)

Acclaimed as a melodic thrash-fest that found the band as vital as ever by AllMusic and earning 4.5/5 from Sputnikmusic, the record showcases the fearless honesty of frontman Kevin Seconds and the band's unwavering ability to turn every chorus into an anthemic call to action. Moving beyond typical tropes, standout tracks like Panic Attack tackle personal anxiety and the reality of aging with rare transparency. From the breakneck opening of All Came Undone to the self-aware defiance of Y.P.H. (Your Parent's Hardcore), Take It Back, Take It On, Take It Over! is essential 7 Seconds-raw, real, and a barbed wire bridge between the hardcore scene the band helped build and the 21st-century punk they inspired.

TWISTED TEENS -
Florida Water Blues LP (Going Underground)

Twisted Teens is a rockin' roll band from New Orleans. The Kinks of living in a school bus with no wheels on it. The Rolling Stones of Jungian anarchism. The Buzzcocks of the poisoned bogs of south Louisiana. Punk inflected country music, or country inflected punk music idk. Memetic warfare via earworms (it's extremely catchy). Outperforms all other bands in every metric, drinks every night but still makes it to the gym. Draws no contrast between the familiar and unfamiliar. Pressed on clear blue vinyl.

CHEO FELICIANO
- Cheo LP [Reissue/1971] (Craft Recordings)

Cheo is Cheo Feliciano's debut solo album, released in 1971 on Fania imprint Vaya Records. Co-produced by renowned composer Tite Curet Alonso, the album features treasured songs, mostly written by Tite, including the breakout hit "Anacaona," the delectable guajira song "Pa' que afinquen" and the heartbreak bolero "Mi triste problema." This remastered reissue is pressed on 180-gram vinyl, with (AAA) lacquers cut from the original master tapes for an exceptional listening experience.

EBBB
- Shallow Hits LP (Ninja Tune)

The scope, variety and ambition of Ebbb's debut album Shallow Hits is clear from the off. 'Come Alive' whirs to life quietly then morphs into a sun-kissed radiant piece of calypso-esque electronic pop. It is an album bursting with ideas, textures, rhythms, detail and emotion. A bold and singular debut record from a group who truly do not sound like anyone else right now.

ENVY
- Insomniac Doze LP [Reissue/2006] (Temporary Residence)

In 2006, Japan's Envy irreparably blurred the lines dividing all the various sub-genres of underground rock, smearing post-hardcore, screamo, shoegaze, and ambient minimalism into their cinematic opus, Insomniac Doze. It was not a destination without a path - the band's previous two albums, All the Footprints You've Left Behind and the Fear Expecting Ahead (2001) and A Dead Sinking Story (2003), were clear indicators that change was ahead. As always, Envy were driven by creative curiosity and emotional exploration. Perhaps no album in their nearly four-decade history exemplifies this pursuit more than Insomniac Doze. Twenty years later, it stands as a progenitor, and one of the premiere examples of the preconceptions of punk getting reduced to vapor. Insomniac Doze - Anniversary Edition celebrates the 20 years since the release of Envy's landmark album. Remastered in 2026 by Josh Bonati, the album's deluxe new gatefold package includes complete lyrics in both English and Japanese languages. It is the definitive version of an album that has come to help define a genre.

FATHERS
- Fathers LP (Blue Note Records)

New generations of musicians continue to explode existing notions of what jazz is by fearlessly taking the music in new directions. The new collective Fathers consists of four broad-minded artists who have established their presence at the forefront of that movement: producer Kenny Beats, keyboardist Kiefer, bassist CARRTOONS, and drummer Nate Smith. On their eponymous debut album, Fathers, the collective uses jazz as a jumping off point for an 8-track set that seamlessly blends jazz textures, hip-hop beats, and funk grooves into a potent mix.

SHOW ME THE BODY
- Alone Together LP (Loma Vista)

Alone Together is an album about praxis. Putting belief into action. The opening line, radical love compels me to fight, reflects lived experience, standing up for one another and for what you believe in, regardless of outcome. Alongside producers Klas Ahlund and Kenneth Blume, Show Me the Body have recontextualized their core language into something with more clarity than ever before. This is not about atmosphere but direct communication, a call to galvanize ourselves and the people around us.

SUKI WATERHOUSE
- Loveland CD/LP (Island)

Suki Waterhouse, the indie pop storyteller behind the critically acclaimed Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, is back with her third album, Loveland. Featuring 14 new songs and co-written with some of music's brightest luminaries, including Amy Allen, Aaron Dessner, Joel Little, Dan Wilson, Jules Apollinaire, and Natalie Findlay. Loveland charts the tender distance between who we were and who we are becoming - a meditation on identity, motherhood, and the quiet pull toward something truer. It is Suki's most intimate and fully realized work.

GIVEON
- Beloved: Act II LP (Epic)

Beloved: Act II is the definitive evolution of the sophomore masterpiece from R&B powerhouse, Givēon. Building on the 14-track foundation that earned a Best R&B Album Grammy nomination, this deluxe edition unveils five exclusive bonus songs, offering a deeper look into the artist's introspective lyrics and captivating baritone. SOME VELVET SIDEWALK
- Critters Encore LP (K. Records)

Critters in the suburbs, the rabbits, the crow, earthworm, and squirrel. The pummeling pop machine with an unrelenting artlessness is back. Critters Encore. Cool Media, fuzzy media, marshall McLuhan hitches a ride on Roy Orbison's motorbike. Frantic, anxious catharsis guitars teetering on oblivion and a voice that still haunts upon waking all the while touching earth. Love-rock revolution meets cross species connection in our modern state of play.

KAY KRULL - I Dreamed Once I Was May Queen LP (Peppermint Future )
I Dreamed Once I Was May Queen is the sophomore album from Bloomington, IN songwriter Kay Krull. The bulk of the album was recorded by her trio live in a small room over the course of one weekend, with additional arrangements added in the following months. While those arrangements certainly add a further depth to the matter, at its core May Queen is a collection of performances. At her core, Kay Krull is a performer. That’s not to say that she is the kind of performer who fits readily and snugly into the framework of performance as commodity. These songs, though confident, have a fragileness to them, less likely to be imparted on a hip club stage and more likely to be heard in the living room of an auntie who drinks. A sonically teased yank on the stories passed from singer to singer in the parlor of Malvina Reynolds or the backyard of Jean Ritchie. Lyrics about the big everything and the little nothing, hummed low to the bells of the church down the road while we go about our days, chopping the eternal vegetables of our minds and of our moment. “

MAX SUBAR
- Anything Could Be LP (Merge Records)

Chicago singer-songwriter Max Subar laid down the bones of Anything Could Be, his debut album, in a house on the shore of a frozen lake in Wisconsin. Subar returned to the sonic and spiritual landscape he'd cultivated during the initial ten day session, remaining present in that moment by working when he could truly occupy it's heart. Most of the additional sessions that add texture and color to the album were recorded in Subar's home studio, in the same house where Case Oats, the Casey Gomez-Walker-led outfit in which Subar plays guitar, recorded their 2025 debut Last Missouri Exit.

MOCK MEDIA
- Rat Bastard LP (Mac's Record Label)

Mock Media's new LP Rat Bastard transcends musical boundaries with 10 tracks of energetic, sonically powerful and harmonious pop, rock and electronic music. Expanding their musical prowess with new sounds, samples and recording techniques that leave listeners wondering what they've just listened to. Music taking on new landscapes, this record is just as colourful as it's album cover.

YOKO ONO - Season Of Glass LP [Reissue/1981] (Secretly Canadian)
To mark the 45th anniversary of it's release, Secretly Canadian has announced that Ono's seminal 1981 album Season of Glass will be released July 2026, in expanded CD and digital versions, and on vinyl for the first time in more than forty-five years, with expanded and enhanced artwork. Hit single ‘Walking on Thin Ice’ is now available to stream everywhere for the first time. One of Pitchfork's Top 200 albums of the 1980s, Season of Glass was released in June 1981, just seven months after the senseless murder of Ono's husband and creative partner, John Lennon. Full of songs about love, loss, anger and fear, the album reflected Ono's experience in stark detail, creating almost a companion piece to Ono and Lennon's 1970 Plastic Ono Band primal scream albums.

PEARL & THE OYSTERS
- Monkey Mind LP (Stones Throw)

Monkey Mind is the new album from French-American duo Pearl & the Oysters, produced by Jonathan Rado (Weyes Blood, Miley Cyrus, Father John Misty, The Lemon Twigs, Foxygen). Though sunny on the surface, the album was written and recorded in the wake of the devastating LA fires of 2025 and Trump's second inauguration. Monkey Mind is named after the Buddhist concept of a restless, looping consciousness - the duo drew on their own monkey minds to write the album in a matter of weeks, using music as way to process their worry. After years of building their own intricate, home-recorded worlds, P&TO worked with producer Jonathan Rado, recording straight to tape with minimal overdubs and working with their musical family of LA musicians. The result is looser and more grounded in the present moment than anything they've done before.

SCRITTI POLITTI
- Cupid & Psyche 85 LP [Reissue/1985] (Rough Trade )

The new version of Cupid & Psyche 85 features remastered rarities & remixes from the band’s archive on a double LP. It also comes with sleeve notes written by Green Gartside and David Gamson. The album is remastered by Chris Athens (Drake, Beastie Boys). Both a pop masterpiece and a landmark in music production, months of intensive work resulted in a brilliant, immaculate sound, described today by singer Gartside as “pyrotechnics of pointillist syncopation”. Overseen by iconic producer Arif Mardin and featuring some of New York’s finest session musicians, Cupid & Psyche 85 took the band’s acute pop sensibility to new, glittering heights, spawning five singles: Wood Beez, The Word Girl, Absolute, Perfect Way and Hypnotize, each a hit on one side of the Atlantic or the other.
