FEEBLE LITTLE HORSE - Bitknot CD/LP (Saddle Creek)
Feeble Little Horse is naturally delighted to present their third full-length LP, bitknot. The album was written, arranged, produced, and recorded by Sebastian Kinsler, Lydia Slocum, and Jake Kelley across their respective homes in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A spirited investigation into the unnatural space created between human nature and a culture of convenience, a synthesis of dirt and digital, bitknot by Feeble Little Horse creates a language wherein one can re-imbue a sanctity of interdependence away from consumptive self-sufficiency and materialism. Slocum's meandering introspection playfully harmonizes against Kinsler's hooks, walls of noise, a supercharged car battery's worth of synths and samples dropped in the ocean of their guitar-driven songwriting framework. Meanwhile, some of Kelley's most laser-focused drums to date create a sonic chimera that is as likely to be found nascently developing in the early aughts as some unknown, chromatic future.
JJEROME87 - Canyon CD/LP (Mushroom)
Jjerome87 is the solo moniker of British songwriter, musician and frontman of the critically acclaimed Mercury Prize and Ivor Novello-winning band, alt-J. Recorded in LA alongside producer Carlos de la Gaza, a dedicated group of session musicians and a trio of female vocalists, The Canyon is a collection of alt-J (esque) songs with a Californian, Motown, Blues and Gospel energy.

MUSE- The Wow! Signal CD/LP (Warner)
Muse are a culturally-attuned, genre-defying band who channel the anxieties of each era-technology, power, rebellion, and identity-into maximalist, stadium-ready rock that evolves with the times while staying unmistakably Muse. Kicking off with new single 'Be With You,' this next era of Muse is rooted in electronic experimentation and an insatiable curiosity. The WOW! Signal represents a world of cosmic mystery, existential hope, and the exhilarating possibility of contact with something far greater than ourselves.
SML - Spontaneous Music Live LP (International Anthem)
SML is a Los Angeles based quintet featuring Anna Butterss, Jeremiah Chiu, Josh Johnson, Booker Stardrum, and Gregory Uhlmann. Spontaneous Music Live contains two side-length pieces of unedited improvisation, recorded live at Los Angeles venue Zebulon during SML's December 2025 three-night residency, just weeks after the release of the band's second album How You Been. It was recorded and mixed live to stereo tape by Bryce Gonzales (the same engineer/wizard known for his gorgeous live captures/mixes of Jeff Parker's ETA IVtet). Between How You Been and their 2024 debut Small Medium Large (both of which were heavily edited, shaped and post-produced) the band has developed a reputation for records that are heavily fused, polished, and punchy. The medium is on full post-modern display on those LPs, and the band's post-production knife can be responsible for much of the perspective-the tastiest morsels collected, arranged, and rearranged just so. Spontaneous Music Live removes the curatorial perspective and pulls the curtain back on that search-pluck-reconstruct editing process. What we're left with is the psychedelic realism of the band in situ, in their home town, collectively improvising, fully in-the-moment, mining for that moment of discovery. We hear, in macro, each nugget of sound which could be the basis for a future SML album track, spattered amongst the collective chaos-and-control like stars in the night sky.
BETH ORTON - Ground Above CD/LP (Partisan Records)
If 2022's album, Weather Alive, lived underwater, suspended, spectral, and dreamlike, The Ground Above marks a resurfacing. It is Beth's most direct and unapologetic music to date; profoundly urgent, embodied, and powered by a new found strength. Where the previous record unfolded in a post-ictal, time-out-of-time dreamscape, The Ground Above finds Orton firmly back on land, taking a giant intake of air. It documents survival, integration, renewal, and acceptance without resignation.
PIXIES - Complete B Sides: 1988-97 LP [Reissue/2001] (4AD)
Coming 25 years after it's initial release and coinciding with the band's 40th anniversary, Complete B Sides by Pixies has been remastered and is being reissued this June. Collecting all the b-sides from the band's classic 4AD-era, Complete B Sides contains some of the Pixies best 'other' tracks including 'Wave of Mutilation (UK Surf)', 'Into The White' and 'The Thing' and until now, hasn't been available on vinyl. Originally released on CD in 2001, when the band were nearly a decade into a hiatus, Complete B Sides featured all 19 non-single tracks from the band's unbelievable run of 1988-1991 singles - 'Gigantic', 'Monkey Gone to Heaven', 'Here Comes Your Man', 'Velouria', 'Dig for Fire' and 'Planet of Sound'. To complete it, it concluded with the instrumental version of 'Letter to Memphis', the Trompe le Monde album track that appeared on the American release of 'Alec Eiffel’. For this updated edition, all the tracks have been remastered from their original analogue tapes by Kevin Vanbergen, sounding amazingly fresh, it also completes his extensive work across the band's catalogue.
TURNOVER - Down On Earth CD/LP (UNFD)
Turnover enter a new era with Down On Earth, their first fully independent album.
CHANEL BEADS - Your Day Will Come CD/LP (Jagjaguwar)
First things first: yes, Chanel Beads' second album, Your Day Will Come, has the same title as the experimental project's 2024 breakthrough debut. But this is a completely new body of work, not a part two, a rehash or a re-do. If his initial impulse was to poke fun at the apparatus that divides music into chapters, as the songs developed, Shane Lavers found the phrase carried deeper nuance, evoking the duel between certainty and doubt that preoccupied his psyche. Though the phrase unfurls with conviction, a slight shift in emphasis can inspire unsettling ambiguities: Will your day come? What will it be like? How can you be sure? Emotional sublimation is central to Chanel Beads, as if you can white-knuckle something so hard that it becomes transcendent. Drawing from Lavers' own experiences, Your Day Will Come uses dream logic to delve into liminality and precarious remembrance. It's colored by the spectres of specific losses, but also how you can haunt yourself by falling back into old habits.
POND - Terrestrials CD/LP (Mangovision)
Beloved Australian five-piece POND offer a skerrick of hope in a hostile world with their new record - their 11th - Terrestrials. A cyclone of urgent, scorched earth rock'n'roll, Terrestrials tips the hat to the sounds of then while squarely facing up to the here and now. Conceived from a place of reverence for a particularly potent epoch in Oz rock, Terrestrials mines the sound of open sky melancholia, heat haze sizzling on the plains and jangly pub backrooms that hits an eternally poignant nerve for anyone familiar with the sound, time and place. -Stereogum on Terrestrials
DEL THE FUNKY HOMOSAPIEN - Future Development CD/LP (Rhymesayers)
Future Development is Del the Funky Homosapien's third album and, following his departure from major label Elektra, his first solo full-length for his independent label, Hieroglyphics Imperium Recordings. Originally released on cassette in 1997, and later reissued on CD and vinyl in 2002, the album largely relied on in-house production from Del along with contributions from Hiero crew members A-Plus, Opio, and Toure. The only guest feature on the album is from crew member Casual, who joins Del on the energetic ‘Checking Out The Rivalry.’ Sonically, Future Development bridges the funk-heavy stylings of Del's debut with the darker, more futuristic textures he explored on No Need for Alarm. Lyrically, Del refines his rapid-fire wordplay with sharper thematic focus, tackling life in Oakland, societal observations and hip-hop culture, all with a blend of humor, streetwise insight, and multi-syllabic dexterity. Ultimately, the album captures a snapshot of his progression from raw talent to a more conceptually matured songwriter. It remains a significant and under-appreciated chapter in Del's evolution, showcasing early seeds of the creativity and independence that would come to define much of his career thereafter.
BUTTHOLE SURFERS - After The Astronaut CD/LP [Reissue/1998] (Sunset Blvd Records)
Riding the least likely commercial success of the 90s with Modern Rock chart topper ‘Pepper,’ Austin odd rockers Butthole Surfers returned to the studio in 1998 for the followup, After The Astronaut. Leaning further into experiments with electronics, hip-hop, acid grooves, and the otherwise unusual, the result is a dizzying orbital trip expanding the idea of what's possible in rock music. Disputes between The Butthole Surfers and Capitol Records left the album unreleased, while the band regrouped and re-recorded some of the material for 2001's Weird Revolution, released through Hollywood Records. After The Astronaut collected dust, eventually developing a mythic status. A quarter century later, Butthole Surfers are realizing their vision for After The Astronaut. Newly mixed by guitarist/producer Paul Leary, After The Astronaut corrects the record on the band's activity in the late 90s with a bold, idiosyncratic evolution of their sun-fried psychedelia.
CHRIS CORNELL - Carry On LP [Reissue/2007] (Interscope Records)
Chris Cornell's second solo studio album, Carry On, is released on vinyl for the very first time. Newly remastered by Levi Seitz at Blackbelt Mastering and pressed on 180-gram black vinyl, the 2-LP set includes two bonus tracks, ‘Today’ and ‘Roads We Choose,’ plus an unreleased extended intro for ‘Billie Jean,’ the cover of the iconic Michael Jackson song. The album also features the theme song ‘You Know My Name,’ from the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale.
DEAD CALM - Accept LP [Reissue/2023] (Hunkofplastic)
DEAD CALM - Keep Moving LP [Reissue/2025] (Hunkofplastic)
Dead Calm is a band from Liam McCay... a young, prolific Irish musician from County Donegal, known for creating music under numerous aliases, most notably Sign Crushes Motorist, Dead Calm, and Take Care, exploring genres like slowcore and indie rock with poignant, introspective, and often melancholic themes, gaining significant online traction while maintaining a low-key, hobbyist approach to his rapidly growing career. He began with the fiddle, pivoted to guitar during the pandemic, and has since released extensive work, even turning down record deals to keep his creative process personal.
DEAFKIDS - Cicatrizes Do Futuro LP (Neurot Recordings)
The Brazilian duo Deafkids returns with a vital and combustive new album, Cicatrizes Do Futuro (Scars Of The Future). This nine-track sonic assault forges a path beyond the conventions and boundaries of static musical genres. Here, electronic fury and feverish organic percussion collide with a relentless Latin American punk spirit. Conceptually, the album is a visceral diagnosis of a world intoxicated by it's own fictions of power, tracing the anatomy of a systemic grand deception and exploring it's mechanics of psychological, social, and material domination, the indelible marks imprinted on bodies and minds and it's catastrophic consequences. It is a journey from the poisoned and addicted collective psyche to the desperate search for an antidote, while the future seems to be already cursed by the very forces that pretend to build it. Yet, for all it's thematic weight, Cicatrizes Do Futuro is hypnotically danceable - physical and ritualistic music that demands body movement as a form of mental cleansing. The album doesn't just reflect a fractured and violent world - it breathes desire to live and resist through new sonic paths.
CECILE MCLORIN SALVANT- With Every Breath I Take CD/LP (Nonesuch)
Cécile McLorin Salvant’s With Every Breath I Take is due June 26, 2026, on Nonesuch Records. The album, Salvant’s first with orchestra, features The Netherlands’ Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley. Salvant and the ensemble perform timeless songs newly arranged by composer and bandleader Darcy James Argue. Salvant, who has performed with orchestras regularly over the last decade-and-a-half and intended to make an album with one sooner in her career, but logistics and her abundant creative ideas led to other new projects intervening. Having finally found time to make this album, With Every Breath I Take is a different sort of record than it might have been even ten years ago.
ADRIAN YOUNGE - Younge LP (Linear Labs)
Younge is Adrian Younge's magnum opus: an orchestral album written from the perspective of a hip hop producer, and a hip hop record composed with the discipline of classical and cinematic music. It reframes orchestral composition not as nostalgia, but as a living language built for reinterpretation. Inspired by composers like Lalo Schifrin, David Axelrod, Ennio Morricone, Galt MacDermot, Bo Hansson, and later visionaries such as Portishead's Geoff Barrow, the album draws from a lineage of emotionally charged, forward-thinking music that quietly shaped hip hop decades later through sampling. These were records defined by tension, restraint, and atmosphere-qualities Younge places at the center of this work. Recorded entirely to tape at Linear Labs, Younge unfolds like a lost soundtrack from an alternate history: modular compositions, dramatic movements, and themes that feel simultaneously ancient and futuristic. The music anticipates reuse-it invites sampling, deconstruction, and dialogue-without ever feeling unfinished. Adrian Younge has spent years testing orchestral music in front of live audiences, refining how large ensembles communicate energy, space, and narrative. That experience is embedded in the record. Every arrangement breathes. Every silence matters. This is not orchestral music collaborating with hip hop. It is orchestral music as hip hop-spoken fluently across time.
ELDRITCH ANISETTE - Complete Fairytales LP (Numero)
First state femo for the floor-punch averse. Lasting barely a year and never escaping the Delaware Valley, Eldritch Anisette eeked out a 7 and two dozen shows before aging out and leaving six moments of heartfelt adolescence behind for the world to rediscover. 30 years since their soul-baring, Complete Fairytales gathers the band's almost-lost Nick Rotundo sessions onto a single LP with accompanying lyric sheet for easy screaming along with the kids.
EMPEROR X - Unified Field CD/LP (Bar/None Records)
Chad R. Matheny has been releasing eccentric, lyrically-dense underground pop music since 1998, often under the name Emperor X. After training in physics, philosophy, and music composition, Matheny paused academic work and spent much of the past two decades crossing the world on buses and bullet trains to make music at locations ranging from a small but packed symphony hall in Portugal to an empty trade fair dome in northern Lebanon to literally-underground metal bars across Ukraine. He often tours alone with a guitar and synth, but sometime shares bills with fellow travelers including Ratboys, The Hotelier, The World is a Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Foxing, AJJ, TheFront Bottoms, and Xiu Xiu.

LAZARUS PLOT - Something Good Has Got To Come LP (Numero)
Female fronted talk-mo from the cursed Elgin, Illinois scene. Something Good Has Got To Come From All These Goodbyes compiles The Lazarus Plot's complete recordings-their 1998 debut 2x7, The End EP, split with Long Live Nothing, a stray V/A, and two previously unissued songs, with accompanying 24-page booklet of lyrics and photos crafted by thee Laura Laurent. A secret teenage diary of grief and longing, set to music inspired by pre-internet Louisville and Chicago. No regrets.
GLEN HANSARD - Don't Settle Vol. 2 Transmissions West CD/LP (Plateau Records) Following the success of Don’t Settle - Transmissions East we now move onto the second part of this journey with Don’t Settle - Transmissions West. Highlighting an incredibly prolific and diverse career, this isn't just a 'Best of' - it's a live studio album, it's a no second takes, no autotune, no editing. Just live, raw, direct energy that captures the magic of Glen like nothing released before.
EZRA COLLECTIVE - Chapter 7 (10th Anniversary) LP [Reissue/2016] (Partisan Records)
Ezra Collective's Chapter 7, now celebrating it's tenth anniversary, captured the restless energy of a young band finding it's voice - spiritually curious, rhythmically fearless, committed to community as compass. Built on grooves made for sweat-slicked basements and late-night communion, it's seven movements reveal a blueprint forming: jazz as a living expression of where you come from and who you stand with. The Chapter 7 (10th Anniversary Edition) reissue revisits that formative statement from a band that would soon become trailblazers as both the first British jazz act to win the Mercury Prize, and then a BRIT Award. Remastered for vinyl and expanded with new incarnations - live cuts from NPR's Tiny Desk and the band's landmark Royal Albert Hall performance - the reissue presents Chapter 7 not simply as an early document, but a living manifesto: rhythm as ritual, youth culture as sanctuary, and jazz as an open invitation. Pressed on black vinyl, housed in a single sleeve jacket with printed inner sleeve, featuring credits and a message from the band.

FRAIL - No Industry LP (Numero)
Post-hardcore, Philly style. Discontent with the metallic youth crew format, Frail pursued Gen-X's ferocious, noisy rage against everything at San Diego's galloping pace. LIGHTNING BOLT - Wonderful Rainbow LP [Reissue/2003] (Thrill Jockey)
Legendary band Lightning Bolt’s Wonderful Rainbow is one of the most quintessential albums to come from the underground in the last 20 years. Included in lists like Pitchfork’s “200 top albums of the 2000s” and the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, Lightning Bolt’s seminal record solidified their place as pillars of the underground community. Wonderful Rainbow saw the duo of Brian Chippendale (drums/vocals) and Brian Gibson (bass) being compared to the likes of Slayer, Ornette Coleman, and early Boredoms, and captured the bristling, immeasurable energy of their mythical live shows, which continue to astonish audiences today. The album’s now iconic artwork (drawn by Chippendale) mirrors the music’s curious and exhilarating blend of chaos, noise, intense beauty and childlike wonderment. Lightning Bolt paved the way for countless artists who followed them, cracking the noise-rock and underground scenes wide open with an album as frenetic and violent as it is overflowing with joyful abandon.

MOBY - Future Quiet LP (Little Idiot)
Future Quiet signals a new chapter for one of electronic music's most enduring and visionary artists. Encompassing modern piano minimalism, ambient soundscapes and a smattering of vocal collaborations, the album finds Moby reflecting on the tension between hyper-connected modern life and the deep human need for stillness. Moby elaborates, Future Quiet is, not surprisingly, quiet. “To be clear, I love bombast. I love excess and volume. But as the world gets louder and crazier I find myself needing the refuge of quiet, both as a listener and as a musician. For me, and hopefully for others, Future Quiet is a refuge. The world, self-evidently, is more demanding than it's ever been. The world screams at us, our screens scream at us, other people scream at us, and to retreat from the screaming we need safety and refuge. That for me is the goal of Future Quiet. Writing and recording it was a refuge for me, and I hope that listening to it is a refuge for you.”
OSEES - Cara Maluco 12” (Deathgod)
Osees return with a four-track EP recorded last year in Tornio, TX. A couple fried trippers and couple tight dance punk numbers. Crazy face indeed. Includes an etched B-side.

From the sinister ‘For I Am Death’ to the vulnerable yet hopeful ‘When I Wake Up,’ listeners are sure to go on a rollercoaster of emotions.
REALITY - Disco Party LP [Reissue/1976] (Mr Bongo)
Mr Bongo presents a reissue of one of the rarest releases on the illustrious and now ultra-rare tax scam label TSG Records. A label with a checkered past, operated by Lloyd Price and with alleged ties to boxing promoter Don King. The album in question, Disco Party by Reality, is a stunning journey through '70s dance floor-focussed funk into early proto-disco grooves. It's not just rarity that makes this record so sought after, but rather the fact that it is a superb example of dance floor-focussed mid '70s funk and disco.
NANCY SINATRA - Movin' With Nancy LP [Reissue/1967] (Light In The Attic)
Light in the Attic is proud to present Nancy Sinatra's 1967 album, Movin' With Nancy. This definitive new edition and first ever vinyl re-release celebrates Nancy at the peak of her 1960s cool. Movin' with Nancy is one of the most ambitious creative projects in Nancy Sinatra's career. The hour long, 1967 television special and accompanying soundtrack album capture the creative, groovy, and beautiful times of the 1960s. The project was funded by RC Cola, but this was no cash in. It was a passion project for Nancy, who asked her dad, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and other family and friends to be in the movie. She also used her own cars, clothes, house and did her own make-up. A truly DIY production. The album features Frank Sinatra performing ‘Younger Than Springtime’ and Dean Martin dueting with Nancy on ‘Things.’
